I liked him before the fight and i admit i thought he would ko Manny but boy was i wrong..i will say this, thurman did better than any other fighter in a losing effort to Pac..even changed gameplans a couple times on the fly but that being said he is not beating Spence or Crawford..i would take him again in a rematch with Pac but those guys are just a different breed..Only Spence can beat Crawford and only Crawford can beat Spence.

Still baffles me how one of the judges gave the fight to Thurman. I think more or less everyone agrees that Manny won that fight hands down. He stole so many of the round just by finishing the last half of the rounds stronger than the first half. It was a great competitive fight, but Thurman didn't win and it shouldn't ever have been a split decision.

The kd happened and even if Thurman won the rd clearly ignoring the kd he would of lost it 10-9 unless he won it to the 10-8 point in which he didn't win a rd like that in the entire fight. Thurman losing the rd 10-9 would give Pac a 2 pts win considering the actual 115-112 score. Plus that rd was like a draw ignoring the fact of the kd, considering it would be a draw it still would be a Pac win at 115-114.
I believe that the 10th round body shot wasnt the most painful shot he has ever endured, but it was definitely the most devastating shot in terms of changing the game.

I believe that the 10th round body shot wasnt the most painful shot he has ever endured, but it was definitely the most devastating shot in terms of changing the game.

@@tonysr1983 broner can't deal with pressure and punches that come from a awkward style. Just look at the Vargas and maidana fights. Thurman is like the modern day maidana with his awkward power shots. Mix that in with his speed and it won't even be competitive
No disrespect to Marquez & fans - in fact I have so much respect for his achievements in boxing, but had he been there instead of Thurman with exactly same situation, we could expect that the next day he'll fly to Philippines wearing a shirt with a print that says : I GOT ROBBED.

All the BS that Thurman throw during the buildup to the fight are put to rest. He has my respect. He did fight clean, a real warrior & a champion - not like some that turns a crying baby while trying to prove their point.
I do not favour 2nd Episode coz u know a part from being it only "ONE TIME", Pacman is in the twilight of his career & I prefer to see him fight another champ for the remaining few fights he has left in his tank. Besides, in reality, only that 1 judge and Teddy Atlas were the ones who couldn't get over with a silly thought that Thurman won that fight.
