I know she could have carried it beautifully. Having Kaori and Keiko as the backing vocals and Yuriko adding in the little sprinkles of high soprano vocalizations, then coming in for the 4th harmony part at the climax.
They should bring fictionjunction more forward after Kalafina disband. This group should not be underrated group. Yuki Kajiura born the masterpiece, all the song bring each other energy and harmony. This song will be another all time most played by me. Keep moving forward Yuki Kajiura and you have my support.
A true professional, Joelle. She's had to work very hard to learn all the old discography and Yuki Kajiura's difficult vocal composition and also new songs and she's done very well and brought in her own flavor into the group as well - emotional, strong head voice, and a bit of soul.
I've been a Kajiura fan since my 10s and now i am in my 30s. Couldn't imagine they would release a new album after 9 years. Ofc there are new tracks and live in between but I still felt a little bit empty. I can't tell how touched I am when i'm listening to this song. The melody, arrangement and lyrics is simple but beautiful. Thank you so much for gifting us this new song Kajiura sensei. Happy 30th debut anniversary! Our Parade will definitely go on!
Fictionjunction singers are the most underrated singers in Japan. They always get compared to Lisa,etc. But they deserve more. Words are not enough to say how beautiful this song is. Yuki Kajiura's songs are Japan's unique gem. I am so happy that Yuki Kajiura is having all the freedom she needs since her previous agency treated her like trash. Looking forward to more music of Yuki Kajiura ❤ I remember watching this last night with my entire family and being amazed. Yuki Kajiura really knows how to use the strength of her vocalists. Looking forward to listening to this LIVE. This will be in the Yuki Kajiura live #18 setlist.
Exactly. Seeing her collaborate with other bigger names like LiSA, Aimer, ASCA, JAM Project, Eir Aoi, ReOna, and recently Man With A Mission and Millet, makes me happy a lot. Hopefully, she will compose more songs and anime soundtracks in the future.
I watched LiSA's Netflix special and she was respectful of Yuki Kajiura even while working on "from the edge". She recognizes the musical genius and immense impact of Kajiura and took direction on the vocal performance from her, even though she (LiSA) is a well-established artist and singer. I also saw that she started taking vocal classes with a veteran teacher who seems to have some classical background. This all started during the pandemic period. I am glad she is working on improving her technique in spite of her success and very loved/known voice. That's what I always wished for the Kalafina and FictionJunction ladies. Top level singer still have both vocal teachers and vocal coaches, to keep and evolve their technique especially as they age and the voice changes. You can't keep forcing your voice to sing in your mid-30s and 40s like you rashly and emotionally sang in your teens and early 20s (and got away with it). I would assume it's expensive to keep a coach on retainer unless you're really making good money. I always wonder how the ladies are doing financially, and so often watching their content free of charge on RUclips (especially when it's not on their official channel, which they were very slow to put up after many years of activity) feels like it impacts them in the long run. Imagine if all their global fans were subscribed to their owned channel (for Yuki Kajiura, FJ, and previously KLF, which still has a lot of views and subscribers though delisted) and they had those hundreds of thousands or millions of views on their own channel. Another source of income for YK and the team.
@@TheSeeking2know Financially, I think they're doing fine. I saw in one report that Keiko in Kalafina projects alone earned 15 million dollars. I will verify if this report is accurate. I saw it a long time ago and that is only in KALAFINA earnings only. Not to mention Fictionjunction projects. This was before they went solo. I mean, they could definitely afford it but Kajiura actually respects and trust them that she usually guides the singers and then she tells them to sing it the way they wanted it to be sung. They deserve a documentary. Yuki's struggles with the previous agency, maintaining her music worldview, her uniqueness, how the band remained intact after 30 years,etc., I think these things should be learned by a lot of people. Other than that, I am happy gets to collaborate more with other artists. Usually Kalafina collabs with others and sing other's songs but now Yuki continues to write bangers with other artists and Fictionjunction gets to cover Yuki's own collab songs. I wish there is going to be a Yuki Kajiura ft. Collaborated singers in one concert( Aimer, Lisa, Junna, ASCA, Shuri,etc ). But yeah,.. glad that Yuki's team are so good at distributing songs in more convenient ways. All the best to her. And we will keep supporting her.

Just listened to the entire album, and I was surprised by how, like in this song, Joelle was really front and center in every song she was in - understandable since her voice is so great
I always love hearing Fictionjunction groups music since childhood. They played a huge part of the anime and JPRGs sensation internationally during the 90-2000s with their melodic songs. I can't wait to see what they planned in the future
A beautiful song that should be the ED for an anime some day. Joelle led it so confidently and passionately - a true and appropriate lead vocalist within Fiction Junction. Kaori taking over the lead vocalist from the 2/3 way point was also unexpected - I noticed the change and realized it was her! The concept of the video is also mesmerizing with the dancer in red. Even the fact that the musicians were not identifiable kept their musical visual presence, but kept the humanity/expression to the dancer. Again, since it wasn't the personnel of Fiction Junction that were represented, Yuki Kajiura, the ladies, and the FBM were visually absent. This gives me good vibes for the entire album and the future of Fiction Junction! I am looking forward to seeing the videos for the other tracks including Lino Leia's and rito's.
Its been almost a decade since _elemental_ was released. I still love the melodies and harmonies, especially how Joelle lead the song itself. Looking forward over listening the new album. Congratulations, Yuki Kajiura and FictionJunction. Hopefully, you'll getting more projects in the future.

If you noticed, Kalafina had lots of new songs every year since its debut in 2008. FJ, on the other hand, has only few songs: Parallel Hearts, Toki no Mukou Maboroshi no Sora, Stone Cold, Eternal Blue, and Distance. Kalafina has more projects compare to FJ. That's why Parade is definitely the big comeback of FJ

最近のかおりはライブの時語尾がちょっと癖ついてきたなと思っていたのですが、これは昔のようにストレートに歌ってくれていてとても良かった！

勝手に思うですが、See-SawもKalafinaもFictionJunctionも梶浦由記という作曲家の別側面ですので、
いつもFictionJunctionの曲から優しいかつノスタルジックな一面を見せてくれた。
珠玉の一枚が完成しましたね！
やはり私の人生、梶浦さんと出会えた事が最高に良かった…たまたま深夜帯で見たアニメがきっかけだったけど、
それからCDやライヴを通して沢山の興奮、感動を頂きました、本当にありがとうございます。
これからも素敵な梶浦サウンドに巡り合える事がとっても楽しみ！！

That's surely a coincidence, but I love seeing some of my favourite things - love and adventure series, musical story and forest environment - reunited in a song of FictionJunction (even though I had a preference for Kalafina, but it is still Yuki).
