...now imagine having this on a bigger scale like...oooh let's say a heliostat setup! (solar power tower) Instead of collecting sunlight on the mirrors, you control the laser streams and bounced them into one focused powerful beam. This could be use for multipurpose like.. energy capture or...yes, redirecting a straight beam out to space(weaponize/asteroids etc...)

How come you need safety glasses but the camera is not damaged?

He was intentionally moving the camera around during the power test to avoid damaging the sensor. He has more than one camera. If he doesn't move fast enough, he can use another camera to finish the video.
He doesn't have a spare pair of eyes.

I bought the Sanwu Lasers Tracer 20W. Fits my budget and seems legit so far. Just wish they had the spec for damage threshold on their website. Guess I need to ask them :) Thanks for watching!

@@brainiac75 yeah I just checked out their website, they have similar Lazers on the wrong side of $500 plus $300 for some box to run it. I've bookmarked magnum Lazers so when I do get round to buying one I know who the good ones are thanks :)

Speaking of sensors, how do you protect the sensor of your camera from reflected laser?
