    Thanks for sharing your passion of singing. I have been playing guitar for over 25 years and I have always felt shy about singing. Which you make me realize that I was trying to copycat the artist. You’re a gem! I didn’t know that voice have there own signature!

    I want to thank you Victoria for launching me on the path of singing.
    My mother was a chorus singer for like 30 years but she couldn't teach me anything but taking my motivation from singing or playing on any instrument because according to her words: "she was the commander." Now in my 30th age I finally started to find my voice. (Maybe after a day?) I have to because I will need it for my upcoming book what will be featured with my music and animations.
    P.s.: My parents could both paint amazingly but even I had to learn drawing by myself through the course of years. They taught me shit. What a shame.

    Could you, please, clarify something for me about twang? Does twang always presupposes lifting the larynx or is it possible to use twang while singing with a neutral or low larynx too?

      I would focus on overall good technique during the gig. This starts in your regular practice. You could incorporate straw phonation exercises during breaks at the gig.

      Oh, did you find sustaining the note for 20 full beats in 1 breath (without squeezing) easy? If so, bravo! I think it's hard! 😃

      @tygerstripes3752 Месяц назад

      Have you heard yourself to be sure you have no vibrato?
      I never thought I had any vibrato as a young woman. Now that I'm back to singing, it's all over the place. I want to be able to control it completely.
