@@juankevin7827 im a 3rd year now and I can definitely say it has improved my life. I finish welding this year and next year is my last year before I graduate
@@muckey7800 only pays full time if there is enough work for everybody. Don't be fooled. All depends if you get hooked up with a good company to work for and they have enough work to keep you employed your whole career.

st.louis missouri hey man, I’m a second year appreciate and it’s really fuckin nice. I can travel and see the county or stay around home if I want. I don’t know how it is there but here we get some of the best health care in the nation. You meet people that you would consider family. If you like working with your hands and are looking for a career I would definitely join.
This CAN be good career, but as an apprentice you're not on an equal footing with the journeymen so don't piss them off. You'll have to put up with a lot of crap and get a think skin quickly. The journeymen have paid their dues and deserve respect. You'll need to learn the way they do things QUICKLY and without complaint and attitude. What more is you'll buy your own hand tools and get good ones. These are investment in your future and reflect how serious you are in learning in the trade.
Depending on the state and city anywhere from 20 to 50 an hour, Detroit tops out at 41, where as Toledo ohio is low 30s, Florida is low 20s all depends on where you live
