Girl, I relate to your skin journey so much. Thank you for sharing how you feel! I literally feel the same way. I had perfect skin my whole life, then I turned 37 and all of a sudden I have persistent jawline hormonal acne. It's so frustrating feeling like a detective & trying to pinpoint the root cause, best way to treat it and the months it takes to trial & error. It makes you feel disconnected from your body and I certainly have moments of feeling not confident & self conscious. All that said, I am trying to give myself grace during this time. We are so much more than our acne. You are beautiful inside and out Rachel. Hang in there, this too shall pass! xo

Don’t be hard on yourself. You are beautiful and your inner glow is amazing. I know easier said than done but those who matter will never judge you by your appearance. It took me nearly 5 decades to realize this.

Physical therapist here - we treat TMJ! I would recommend googling the Racabado 6x6 jaw exercises. Its free to look up and won’t take that long day to day and it’s a great way to start working on healthy jaw alignment and muscle balance/ range of motion! If you’re still having trouble after that, I would recommend going to a physical therapist. They can make personalized recommendations on exercises, do manual therapy (read: massage), and give you some information on lifestyle changes to reduce jaw pain (think reducing gum chewing).

Honestly I relate so hard! For me it’s not even about the active breakouts it’s the marks it leaves behind because those take so long to go away 😭 but ur gorg & remember it is only temporary! But I def relate to everything you said❤

The blonde espresso is so good. I usually get an iced blonde quad in a grande cup and add Chai cream cold foam (have them add 2 pumps chai when making the sweet cream cold foam) 🙌🏼
I hear a lot about stubborn acne and a mineral deficiency. I struggled for a while too and my blood work looked fine. I stopped washing my face with tap water and it went away! I just use La Roche Posay Micellar Water morning and night with a cotton pad. I do it twice at night because of my makeup but ever since doing that my “hormonal acne” went away!! Think about it tho we have so much junk in our tap water so it made sense to me afterwards. I always had used gentle cleansers too, nothing changed til I stopped using water and soap. I had it so bad on my chin and haven’t had an issue since!!

Tretinoin and living a dairy free lifestyle has helped me with my acne journey so much. Diet is 90%! All the skincare and makeup in the world will not override balanced hormones and clean diet.
ACNE DARK SCARS!!! The absolute BEST way that I’ve gotten rid of my scars from acne growing up is literally Neosporin. Straight up Neosporin. I’ve never used a product that makes my dark spots fade quicker than it.

Hey! **try sleeping on your back- laying flat* will help with TMJ and acne. I know it may seem difficult to do-but it really isn’t! Also, I notice you use a lot of hair products…hair products touching face overnight sleeping can cause reaction to skin. Hope this helps a little. 💘
I’ve been on the struggle bus with my chin acne. I cannot get rid of it!!! I went to the derm and they gave me a topical cream that’s been making it worse but hopefully will get better with time. I definitely understand how you feel & im so much more secure when my skin is clear 🥲🥲
I struggled with acne for 10 years, the one thing that has helped me and changed my life is a retinoid. I use A313 from french pharmacy and it is the one thing that has entirely changed my skin and cleared my hormonal acne!!

Im going through the same skin issues. I relate so much and I know how hard it is. My best advice would be to find a naturopathic doctor in your area and they'll help you heal your gut and balance your hormones. Heal the root of it my love.

I feel you re skin issues, it’s been two years since I have been off the pill and I’m still having issues. It’s so frustrating and makes you not feel confident at all.
Careful with cutting out dairy! My friend is now lactose intolerant because his body got used to not having it. Speak to your doctor first! If you’ve tolerated dairy your whole life, cutting it out might not be the answer❤
