That transition from the 8-bit Vermillion town them to the high-quality accordion sound of S.S. Anne was gorgeous to hear, and that fade out is the cherry on top. Love it.
I like it :) reminds me of something I heard about Masuda's approach to the gen 1 soundtrack - I want to say quadrapuntal? You can really hear each of the overlapping voices on their own merit and then the final product in combination.
@@accordiontunes Yes! I remember it was because the Gameboy had only a few audio channels to work with - still really incredible the scope and diversity of the music that came out on that thing despite the limitations. Good memories 🙂
Wow, you played exactly what I'd dreamt about!! Steamship Anne theme is my favourite from Pokémon games and I'm really fond of the timbre of the accordion. Great work 👏🏻
Flawlessly played, this piece sounds excellent on accordion.
Thank you for this really brings back the nostalgic feel❤
many memories
Nice touch with the accordion! Love it!

Totally agree! In fact, I took great care that all 3 voices were heard distinctly. I just love 8 bit. Thanks for the comment 😊

Thanks a lot ☺️
Amazing
I love it! Such a simple, but beautiful melody. This one part always reminded me of Pachelbel's Canon in D
I love this simple melodies too, they are very close to baroque music!!
No wonder I love it so much, since I already love Pachelbel's Canon! 😃

Wonderful. Thank you for this!
