hi slogdog, im currently a trash hardstuck platinum darius player switching to gigachad yorick, but unfortunately i have been getting dicked down by mordekaiser and trynd. any tips?
Poke them, and don't fight head on. Also maxing your W instead of E would help with slowing them down
Use w then e and let maiden and ghoul do damage and you stay Far away so morde dont ult you

for morde:
Never use W if he has R until he brings u to brazil, don't put him IN the cage, rather put the cage between him and u and make sure that ur always on the other side of the circle
Should put in 3 or 5 points in W before putting more points in E just so that he can't destroy W in 2 autos
NEVER ult while in morde ult
It's hard to win 1v1s if u stay in melee range. play more around ur ghouls/maiden. he can't kill ghouls that well.
for trynd:
bruiser seems to work better for me since I can survive while he ults, but i always see slog just go lethality and win idk.

I've been doing this build with hollow radiance first(ideally should be second/3rd) since patch 14 first released it, every called it dogsht then lmao.
Note-- not only is cleaver decent to stack arPen quickly, the ghouls benefit from the flat speed boost which is the worst part about running down the lane to even catch up to the wave. And their split hits technically put Yorick in combat so it boosts him from across the map(stridebreaker stacks this effect)
So what's your endgame build?
@@andrestoro2391 depends on what the team needs. The good thing about Yorick is he is fairly flexible.
shojin hollow is core, liandry's(maybe also blackfire) if team has no magic dmg, deadman's if enemy is AD stacked. Cleaver/stride if our team is lacking phys, maybe a cheeky Statikk shiv. Redemption also lowkey GOATd on yorick as early game rush.
These days I like to go health tank into Overlord for beefrick thicc maiden just because this meta has no great answer to infinite scale health

Also there are different rune and item option so even if you suck at maiden release you can get it down to 44 sec CD without ult items so you don't have to worry much about timings.
The amount of Maiden solo kills I've gotten this path doing junglr Yorick makes me feel really good. People are still so clueless what Yorick does I've even gottena few double kills while farming jungle or an objective.

Do you think liandry could be good in a normal bruiser build?
Yeah, I think it’s be alright if your team has low magic damage, and as a decent option 4-6th item, but do note that it doesn’t give you as good defensive stats compared to other tankier bruiser items, and is really meh if the enemy has lots of mr

What if letality yorick with statick like 4-th item? Wouldn't it be good?

not worth it, would rather go more damage, tho lethality yorick maiden split alone is actually really fast split too, just because you have so much ad

i can understand if you want to get mixed dmg and maby its realy an option if your team is full ad , but the main problem whit yorik is that the dmg is realy weak right now. AND you getting oneshooted . so i inverst in steraks or some other ad hybrid tank items

Hello mr Slogdog, i would like to introduce you and hope you try my brand new Yorick build called:
"Albanian Airstike Yorick Build"
Runes: First Strike, Cash Back, Triple Tonic, Cosmic Insight. Triumph, Cut Down.
Items: Statikk Shiv, Sorc shoes, Shadowflame, Redemption, Hollow radiance, Crypt Bloom.
You max ur E and just poke, farm and use Redemption in a teamfight from very far away dealing devastating dmg(especially when someone Is low hp) making a lot of money and also providing healing and chain lightning strike, which helps to take down nearby enemies, it really help your team out even tho they're probably praying for redemption proc on ur house irl after seeing what you are buying.
Wish u try it out 🫀
