I'm kind of glad Clefairy didn't end up being Ash's partner. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a cute Pokemon, but could you really see it being the face of the franchise? Could you imagine that light-pink tint being on almost everything from a car to something like a bed cover? Could you imagine it being something universally liked by both boys and girls? Could you even see it being a super expressive and great battling Pokemon with super badass moments and artwork? Not really. I think Kirby already has that market nailed down perfectly.

Why I feel that Ash's father will be adressed by the next generation?
I mean, there are SO MUCH HINTS in Sun and Moon regarding the parents, and seems that they adress Lillie and Gladion's father issue, is very possible that at the end they will hint what happened to Ash father.

@@EntityMays And that is in order to expand the story for Ash since there is nothing more to take to make him relevant besides that. That's because Ash's father story would be the ideal fuel to make Ash to continue his pursue to his goal.

Very interesting trivia. And its interesting to see one of the writers leave because they want to keep Ash from winning the league and keep him for every series since its understandable that you don't always need the most iconic characters in every series as other long running franchises will show, my guess is that he probably wanted other OC characters based on future male playable characters from Brandon in RSE to Sun in SM and USUM and make them just as memorable as the original. The issue with saving Legendaries for movies instead of a show is pretty interesting too, since I feel like they fix that problem around in my opinion Diamond and Pearl with Palkia and Dialga showing up in both movie and TV form. Great job.

unpopular opinion: digimon is a better anime, cause each season ends, and has new main characters, and it is not monster catching anime, that started in the seasons after the 5th one, and the kids do grow up, while ash is stuck being 10 forever

Ok, here's my theory: Deliah Ketchum, mother of Ash back when she and Giovanni worked together and dated each other, she soon became pregnant. However, soon after, she began to see just how dangerous Giovanni could be, she ran from him and met her current husband who raised Ash as his own while unaware that Ash was never really his. Ash knows the truth, but because Deliah told him the things that Giovanni is capable of, he's sworn never to tell him that he's his son to protect himself and his mother

So the Original series is now slit into Pokémon the Beginning and Pokémon Gold and Silver and Professor Ivy is a Lesbian so that why she was never mentioned in the Anime again.

I still think it is Giovanni. There so some many things pointing to him. Now knowing Ash was going to battle Giovanni and going be reveal in that episode who his father was, it make it clear, why I think Giovanni is Ash's father, well when Team Rocket attack Professor Oak Center, Delia whisper and you can hear she said some allowed the line "I don't remember Team Rocket being that stupid." Like She was involved with Team Rocket before. Giovanni travel around Kanto and when Ash call his mother Delia and said "I am in Viridian City" His mother sort of sound excited and nervous at same time when she said "oh wow, it token you're father 3 days to get there" (Or some allowed the line there). Well why I think this is a clue is because Giovanni token him long time to get to Viridian City and Delia is excited and nervous is happy for her son but she may know Giovanni's Gym is there. Any mother will be excited and nervous for there child when they got there fast but worry about seening there evil father in real life. Also another reason is Ash said to Giovanni when they did battle allow the line like "no you not taking over because I am Ash Ketchum" Giovanni surprisedly said "Ketchum" like he knew that name before, then his attaching went on to him and have fun. Who knows Maybe Giovanni could be Ash's father because he wasn't revealed until later on where his face and voice came into play. He also look so much like Ash. Well Ash looks like both Delia and Giovanni. There are more pointing to Giovanni but these should make think 'hm maybe'. So what you think? :)
