Great interview questions
Hey Naveen, I have a query on BDD approach. Many a times it happens that PO or multiple BAs write the feature file. And they write in GWT format but use different statements for a particular step (say, for landing to homepage; one writes, "When user lands to homepage" and another one writes, "When user is in homepage" ). And the same happens for many different steps. What is the best possible way to solve this. Even though we have told our BAs to stick to same type of statements in feature file but they end up putting different ones. Kindly suggest your views.
The BDD portion was exceptionally good which tells how wrongly BDD is being adopted at many orgs missing the amigo concept.
Use of Cucumber has become BDD.. Great going. Keep doing this good work and the practical questions which the people who have worked on can answer in a better way
I know this is a testing domain channel but can you do mock interviews on java microservices like spring boot, spring rest etc mock interview series for a developer cause I'm not finding all those kinds of mock interviews anywhere, and if you start the series I will try to give one mock interview to test my skills as I have started my career as a developer

Feature file to review with dev or PO
I would prefer to work with PO instead talk to dev about business flow.
Two Reasons:
1. Get overall business understanding which helps to identify impact areas.
2. Dev will only talk about what they think or developed for particular epic. 1dt This will shrunk the thinking horizon of QA to identify efficient test coverage. And 2nd, will not get more defects as QA will end up testing what is developed.

Naveen! can you please give the complete correct answer of wrong answers at the end ? For ex. in this video you asked that how will you do parallel testing in test Ng, so at the end please explain in brief that how can we do that?
you can run the test in parallel by stating the same in the .XML file. Feel free to look at the documentation from TestNG.

These interviews are so good you get to know about a lot of questions however as QA myself I won't fully agree with Candidates answers but I think Naveen could give actual suggestion may be right at the end so as to improve the answers as well what are the good practices and bad practices since no two companies follows the same but at the time of the interview if you favor good practices then there are more chances to get hired

Great interview for automation testers, I have attended some 4-5 interview all are asking about how to reverse the string, how to find duplicates in array, Serialisation, etc full programming questions 😆

One Element working fine after few days
I started facing stalelementexpeception expection .
I tried all the ways. Nothing is worked.
Later I had discussion with technical manager , He assigne task to Developer is fix. Developer fixed that issue.

The moment u said that her resume is so simple, short and clear and written in just one page, would be more interested to see how it looks like, the contents. How did she accomodate everything of 5 years exp in one page. I know der are 1000s of resume samples available in internet. But would be more interested to know from your end. How the software testing engr resume should be for freshers, 1-3 yrs, 3-7yrs, 8-11 yrs, for TL or manager. If possible make an another interesting session for the same

That could be great help
Some tips:
1. Avoid repeating your skills set. Just mention after the intro part. (As a tester they know you are good at test plan or test cases etc so don't repeat)
2. Intro or objective should be max 3-4 lines.
3. Under Responsibilities - Mention how your work impacted the company or project in each of your experiences. Talk in numbers (eg. Executed 100 test cases OR Handled team of 5 OR Number of critical bugs etc.
4. Mention your unique expertise in each experiences.
5. Do not explain about your project. Just mention the name of the project. (In interview you can)

of all your interviews questions in this series were basic .secondly we must be good at our basics .no matter what i would never go to any interview without getting my basics right .Also whatever you put in your resume you should answer else do not put .Also status codes are the most simple in api not all but 200 201 these are most common ones
So what you are telling is these are not the questions that they are going to ask in interview

Naveen. I think you should NOT let candidates to substitute correct answer by endless nonsense. I would interrupt it, give correct answer and go ahead to the next question
Hi Naveen, This video may be misleading to job aspiring candidates, as you know, no interviewer would continue the interview if the basic questions are not answered properly, Specially for an experienced candidate.
