Hi Kenny, enjoy your videos. I used to own a GT10 and I used the pedal as wah only. I turned off volume/expression. So it did not operate unless I pressed the pedal down and activated the wah. From memory I did this thru global settings. I now have a GT100 and cannot see where I can do similar? Is it possible ?
Thank you so much for these helps. It has been very helpful for me in learning how to use my GT100. I’m wondering is it possible to carry echo/delay, reverb etc sounds over to the next patch selected. So the sound doesn’t just stop cold when you change to the next patch.? Thanks again
Hi there, RIch. You're very welcome, I'm very happy that you found the video helpful and useful. Sadly the delay/reverb spillover isn't possible on the GT-100... So you won't be able to get that type of effect, I'm affraid. I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need anything else, I'd be happy to assist. All the best.
Just copy the delay and reverb settings of your first patch into your next patch and adjust each level to a minimum so it creates the "spillover effect".
I have had a GT-100 for 2 years now. Occasionally, during the use of my expression pedal, the sound volume decreases significantly (low tones drop out). This happens not only when I switch with the pedal but also randomly, for example, when playing a solo with a wah, which is really annoying. I have opened up the pedal, tightened everything, reinforced the vulnerable nut where the pedal is attached with locktite, and, of course, recalibrated it. Any idea what might be going on or which part of the hardware could be causing the problem? It seems to be an issue with a malfunction or loose connection. If I "stamp" on the pedal 2-3 times, my sound comes back. Thanks in advance.
Hello, Hmm, it seems strange, but of course something like this can happen. If you've been through almost everything, then I would try a Factory Reset, as a last resort. If you do, then please do a back up of your patches, since all memory will be reset, when factory reset. It might be worth a try. I hope this helps. Best regards.
Great video Kenny! I followed the steps and it works with using the assign. The results by using the Boss FS-6 are different. How come? I really dont know. Mabey because I use a stereo cable to connect the FS-6, or maybe the FS-6 mode is wrong. The mode I use now is Momentary. The best result I have made is that by pressing once teh FS-6, the OD goes off and the Wah goes on. Pressing again and teh OD goes on and the Wah goes off. Excelent. The only thing is that the light on de FS-6, stays off. Only by presseing ther is for a second a light, after releasing the button, is goes off.
Switching the mode of the FSW-6 to "latch", the light of the FS-6 stays on, but you've to press twice before the OD effect goes off and the Waheffect goes on.

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply, but your comment went into my spam folder... Well, most of that has to do with your picking attach, and the dynamics, as you mention yourself. Another part is the amplifier, or preamp, and how that is set up. In order to achieve some versatility it would be a good idea to set the amplifier, or preamp, up so that it's on the edge of "break up". That way you can control your picking dynamics and also use your guitar's volume knob to change the characteristics. You could also you the Assigns to change from a clean sound and over to a distortion sound, by pressing the ACCEL/CTL, for example. Let me know what you think. All the best.
Hi there, Mike Gill. I'm very sorry about my late reply, I've been behind on answering comments... You can set up an Assign for the EXP. setting the Source Mode of the Assign to MOMENT, but this will activate the wah when the EXP is all the way forward and deactivate it when the EXP is all the back - this will not really allow you to use it, only turn it on/off. However, if you have an external Expression pedal connected, then you could have the Assign set up on that, as mentioned above, and then the EXP on the GT-100 itself to operate the wah, like normal.
