    Tip very helpful! Review is perfect for clients who don't want to use PDFs for review. I work on a yearly project so it helps to brush up on the workflow.

    This is very helpful. Thank you! Is there an even more advanced share in the 2022 version?

    This is very useful. Thank you. Because you are showing this in 2021 version, I suppose that rhings are improved in 2023.

      Sadly I don’t think a lot of improvement has been made. 😬

    I wish there was some way to notify the reviewers from within the indesign review panel to inform the users the edits have been made.

    Can InCopy users (aka Editors) see and/or resolve feedback, or only the InDesign user?

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  3 года назад

      Only the user that created the review file will be able to edit and view. Hoping they add a team feature at some point. -EG

    Does the person you are sharing the document with have to have an adobe account to view it?

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  3 года назад

      If you want to set it as invite only, they need to have an Adobe ID (free, not a CC subscription). If you choose Public, the. They don’t need one. You can read more about Share for Review at CreativePro.com! -EG

    does it work with interactive menus?

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  6 месяцев назад

      I’m guessing interactive elements won’t come through, since most interactive elements don’t translate to a PDF. You might try it and find out. And let us know! 😀

    Does anyone know if there is a tutorial for people who don't know how to mark up the document we share with them? Most people I send docs for review to are not graphic designers. They know Word or Excel, that's about it.

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  3 года назад

      It should resemble working with changes in Word for example. They don’t need to know design tools to use it. You might see if the Adobe online help is any, uh, help. -EG

    If I design a page, Share for Review, How does one of my teammates open the document, and make the edits for me? It say I am the Owner and they can't view the edits.

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  Год назад

      With Share for Review they can’t make the edits for you. The reviewers can only review and annotate the file. Check out CreativePro.com for articles on how to use the Share for Review feature. -EG

    This would be great if it didn't require all clients to create an account to see it. They just don't want to do that. It would be better if we could just share the link securely and they could edit. Other than that, it's a beautiful tool.

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  3 года назад

      Yes, they can see it without an Adobe ID, but they can’t comment. I’m hoping they will improve on that in future versions. -EG

    But ONLY the owner can access the comments in ID. NO others can see them.

    So the "Resolve" function does not work? But this is half of the automation! Why did they release a button/fuction that doesn't work? Especially when it's sth that has to do with proofing!

    Certain aspects of this new feature are not yet working reliably. The new annotation tools (and their annotations) may disappear from your review unexpectedly after you've used them. For example, if you have highlighted text and added a note, the note will remain but the highlighting is lost. This makes the review process difficult. Adobe engineers reported on 10/27/2020: "We’re reviewing this." Here's a thread on the issue: indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/41747590-share-for-review-strikethrough-highlight-from-on

      It’s definitely v. 1.0 right now. I’m sure they will continue to improve on the feature. -EG

      I agree you cant see in the indesign document where the replace text is

    • @rapmaster

      @@CreativePro The first time I tried this feature (in InDesign 16.1), I experienced the same problem as David: the replaced text from the review did not highlight in InDesign. That's effectively useless for any amount of copy larger than a single line. The next time I tried, the text editing tools were gone entirely -- only the comment and shape tools were present! I'm baffled. Given this behavior, it's generous to have call this feature a beta version, let alone 1.0! I'm disappointed in Adobe. Anne-Marie, convince me how your enthusiasm is justified!

    how do i turn off this feature so every time i open a file the feature doesnt keep popping up over my artwork. Its really a pain to have to click out of it all the time. Can it be shut off or removed from the tool bar?

    • @CreativePro
      @CreativePro  Год назад

      Do you mean the blue tutorial tips that pop up? They should only appear when you first install and launch a new version of InDesign. Once you close them, they shouldn't pop back up. If you're in an older version (like CC2019), there is an option in Preferences to disable Publish Online. -EG

      @@CreativePro no i get a large "share for review" pop up from the top nav that covers my work. Similar to what you show at 1:05 on your video.

    What would be useful is if some kind of notification alert would appear when someone posts a comment, otherwise, they might be missed.
