Hello Love,
Sometimes our stance does more harm than good
Sometimes it creates a way for a loving action to turn into conflict instead
Sometimes,
Not all of the times,
But sometimes.
& that’s what i did here.
I’m glad I did too
Because it gave me the opportunity to decide whether or not I was fighting for something I believed in my soul to be the right thing,
My truth
Or whether it was something that I needed to be swayed on
Granted in a relationship
Most things need to be swayed
An agreement of sorts needs to be met
But if there is no room for negotiations
If there is no room for someone to meet another half way
Then the one that has to come the full way can lead to resentment
They’ll feel they’re giving and giving without getting anything in return
& that’s not a healthy relationship
That’s not something that will sustain a storm
That’s not love
So if there is anything I can ask of you from this video
It is to understand your battles
The battles of your heart
Your mind
And your boundaries
If something is immovable
& there is no wiggle room for error
You’ll always find a reason to be disappointed
Take it from someone who is used to starting over
& someone who looks to the bright side
But still stands in the darkness
