I'm sure you're aware of the brutal RG Kar gangrape Kim. This is not an isolated incident. At my end I can only pray for you but always keep your mind open about going back to your American roots.

Great video marriage is a partnership where you must compromise a few things. I am aware of the cultural differences between India and the US. Sometimes it's not easy. Unlike the US, there are so many differences in India where you can see it more between North and South; it's so diverse even we Indians don't understand how to say it to the point. Great video. Both of you have great insight. I’m American and my husband’s from Haryana. We’re happily married 10 years but it was not always happy actually lol. Boundaries is such a big topic. Kim makes sense to me because we’re from the same culture but I will say Indians view boundaries as punishment. We lived in a joint family too 10+ people. I will say Kim, be happy you don’t have sister in laws lol I am joking. When I comes to relatives the same applies everywhere, some are good natured and some bad. He makes a good point about boundaries in other countries versus USA. I don't think people in general know that in some countries they don't really exist in the same context. Good comments about independent going to a couple. Liked TJ comments about the truck load of people. I think TJ compliments you Kim and vice versa. At the end of the day, if you are willing to put in the effort to grow and water your relationship, it doesn't matter what anyone says or thinks. It's your relationship and as long as no one is being harmed then I would say continue growing it.
