The Best Sunrise view: Lago di Carezza in the Dolomites, Italy

Lago di Carezza (Lake Carezza) is a small alpine lake in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. It is known for its wonderful colors and its view of the Latemar Mountain range. Today the lake is one of the classic tourist destinations often visited by photographers due to its majestic lake reflections and peaceful ambiance.
Alan and I woke up early to visit this amazing lake. We were so fortunate that during this time of the day, there were very few tourists. Perfect for a quick maternity photoshoot! A very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view.
We then visited Chalet Resciesa, a mountain restaurant with two traditional Tyrolean-style “stuben”, a beautiful sun terrace, and some junior suites completely furnished in natural wood. The place has great quality food, excellent wine selection, and a stunning view. It was so breathtaking, we felt like we didn't deserve it because of how convenient we got there via a cable railway (funicular).
Truly one of the many unforgettable experiences we had.

hey, if you're looking for the best month to visit Lake Carezza it's definitely during May-mid August.
the water levels are the highest and also the color of the lake is beautifully blue 🙌🏽
