On Jan 5th 2022 my mum bought this NZ850, she is 5ft tall and 70 with a few mobility issues, so anyway it was delivered she took out the box switched it on pushed it around for 30 seconds, switched it off and said no I dont like it, its too big and heavy for me, so she then rings me and says you can have this Shark I don't want it, I said so send it back then and get you monay back she said no I can't be bothered (obviously has money to burn) so i'm not turning down a brand new shark, i go racing up my mums, when I get there she's packed it all back away in the box as if it were never opened, and its this model I could have cried! so I get back home and spend the next hour I thought pissing my neighbours off at 10pm but I didn't because its the quietest vaccum I have ever used, and the amount of fine sand like material I got out of my carpet was shocking, I love it, thanks mum.
This makes me feel better about mine that isn’t opened yet! Gonna pop to my nans before I open as she has an old different branded one I can have for free so I have to compare. But I want to believe I’ve got a good one here and keep it anyway! We’ll see.
You enjoyed making this video))) , music was just right...always pro's and con's, with any vacuum... buy a Kirkby vacuum, last through time, even after 30 years of use, not many vacuums can last that long, and like anything, maintenance is King... 👍
Shark claim to have a 5-year guarantee and when mine broke they said the main motor had gone and this was classed as wear and tear so what does the guarantee cover
I had the NV680UKT model and the motor started making a loud noise one day and started to smell of burning. I didn’t realise it was still under warranty. Assumed it was only 2 or 3 years. It actually runs out in July this year. When I saw someone say it was 5 years, I checked mine and decided to contact shark. At first I didn’t get any replies after two tickets, the 3rd one I sent I got a reply and they tried to say it was the filters. I said no it’s not. Eventually they agreed to replace the motor and sent me a new motor. Only they sent me the motor for the Nv600ukt which nowhere near fit my model 🙄 so I contacted them again and they said they don’t make my model anymore and sent me a whole new vacuum today. It is this model. So I would contact them again and demand a replacement. The motor going is not wear and tear if it’s within warranty.
Do you still use it? Is it till now effectively working? Is it easy to use? The suction power is it the same till now? Isn't it heavy?? I wanna buy it but I need to be sure that's a good choice
Yes, we are happy with the vacuum cleaner. It's relatively light (about 5 kg). It's easy to use and the suction is good as long as you maintain it properly and clean the filters. The price can be a little lower but all in all I'm pleased with the purchase.
Mine has completely destroyed all my carpets throughout the whole house with loads of snags everywhere and pulled up my carpet, currently waiting to hear back from shark to see what they are going to do about it has my whole carpet needs replacing now.
If u have it on the highest suction setting all the time it will wear carpets quicker happens with all upright hoovers only downfall! Plus some people over hoover everytime u hoover with any carpet your wearing it out!
Is the anti hair wrap at the front meant to spin when using it? I had a blockage yesterday and had to remove a stone which was trapped in the roller but since removing it and cleaning the roller it seems to have lost it’s power a bit but not sure if it’s just me. The anti hair roller turns as I go back and forth but doesn’t spin, never taken any notice before so wasn’t sure if it did prior to the blockage or not. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks for this - especially appreciate taking a look at the pet hair cleaner brush and its mechanism, I couldn't figure out if/how it was powered!
Thanks for watching.
Had mine for about a week! So so good!
Great to hear it!

Great review thanks.
Thanks for watching!
This isn’t a review. It’s an overview with creepy music
Creepy music?! 😂
When using does the rotary brush help to "propel it forward" ? Rather than having PUSH it forward? That is important for me ? Can anyone answer ?

Yes! Shark vacuums do this, I’ve noticed. The suction is very good, but if you pair it with their brush rolls, you’ll end up with destroyed carpets.
How good can it suck
IT is very strong
Have you had any wrist or hand pain from using it?
The hoover is light, I've never had any pain after or while using it.

The anti hair roller 1:14 turns. It should rotate when vacuuming. It is driven like the rotating brush next to it.
@@k-nemo yeah it turns for sure just wondering if it’s meant to spin quickly or is it just meant to turn slowly as you go back and forth?
@@CymroMatt92 rather it rotates quickly
Is this the latest corded model
I'm not absolutely sure it is but I only bought it about half a year ago so it might be
Atleast ot hoovered up all those bed bugs
Do u recommend this.
It vacuums more effectively than the regular hoover I compared it to. But handling the large head with the rotating rollers is less comfortable.
Mine smells or dust, cleaned replaced all filters, new dust bin. Horrible cleaner
What a shame
@@k-nemo literally smells of dust when I vacuum. I'll get a Sebo next
Asa
What is better shark or vorwerk?
Sorry, I can't tell. I've never used vorwerk
Wozu das Licht? Ist überflüssig!
