The product in WWE was complete shit and to be honest most of the figures that were being produced by Mattel weren't exactly excellent but when we first got our hands on figures of "indie guys" like the Elite 47 AJ Styles and Elite 41 Finn Balor (or the RSE Balor Club Elite) it always felt special. I'll never forget the feeling when I first got my hands on a set of Unrivaled Young Bucks after all those years of Tyler Breeze knockoff elites lol, surreal.
I love doing these types as well! I need to make a playlist of them, I did one on Stone Colds weird treatment by Mattel, Jeff Hardys Bizarre lore with mattel & now this one.

I think Will Ospreay was another wrestler who went through this with collectors. Although Headeration makes some of the best 3D prints, AEW has started making Ospreay figs. I love making customs, and I love wrestling, and Kenny Omega definitely got the ball rolling for me in terms of making custom action figures

They really were along with the series 4 Cody the Figures that said okay Jazzwares is here for real . Yes we got good figures from Mjf and Darby Allen in Unrivaled 2 and 3 , and the Little bit of bubbly Jericho but really jazzwares was hit or miss until those 3 figures to me said they were gonna be able to stay around to compete in the wrestling space .

Imma say it… unmatched 1 Kenny is overrated. The gear doesn’t pop off like it did on tv.m, it just looks like a dull grey mess. The elbow joints (maybe it’s just mine) were insanely loose and felt they could break at any given moment. Even the skin tone which I know there’s been issues over, made the kenny look like a zombie. Just my opinion
Hot take Supremes suck because of the lose arms and butterfly joints if it wasn't for that they would he percent I love my cm punk Supreme but I use a unmatched torso with the bottom half and heads
I’m mixed with aew figs because aew is my least favorite wrestling promotion but there figs are good like the gear, head scans, and other things but aew’s torsos just suck they sqeek but that why I’m mixed on aew figs and aew it’s self
I think you should give Aew another chance. It was in a low period for a while but the stories have significantly picked up in my opinion and a lot of people are just hating on it cause it’s a bandwagon right now
If Mattel or Jazwares were smart, they’d create a committed team to developing custom figures for customers. Imagine being able to create yourself for your toy fed!? It’s every kids dream to have a action figure of themselves and we’re not all gonna make it to the big leagues to have one of these companies make a figure of us.
Then make your own, neither company has the time nor should be taking time to make figures of people who don't even wrestle. They should spend their time bettering the quality issues that both companies are lacking.
@ why not? It’s not like they can’t charge a premium for it. We’re already paying a great amount for the product as is. My idea isn’t unreasonable at all. I’m certain at some point they will too. Especially with ai integration. Be sure not to take part in it though when they do since you’re so against it.

@hoopaswagg think about it, though. Owen didn't have a wrestling figure for about 25 years until his family signed a deal with AEW. Mattel couldn't make him & Jakks couldn't make him, but jazwares were able to. that's pretty significant

People are still getting hyped about Warrior and Hogan figures . There's tons of ways to watch classic content . So I'm glad people still remember Owen. He was more entertaining than a lot of people today that won't be remembered 20 years from now .
