I prop up a space heater on a box, on a stool and sit on a chair in front of it so the heat is aimed at the back of my head. I do that for 10 minutes and then let it stay in my hair another half hour while it soaks in and cools down. Works like a charm! ♥️
Girlllll you a genius. I love this idea. Cause those hooded dryers are bulky and expensive. And most people already have a little space heater. I have a little one I take it for my room every winter. ⭐⭐⭐ you get the gold star for the beT hair hack. Hair tools are pricey but deep conditioning with heat cam make a huge impact. Especially for those who feel it's hard for their hair to absorb products. Thank you for sharing. 😊
The easier the steps the more likely I am to do it. Wash day is a mission in itself. I got no time for fussing. 😁 I keep the coconut oil in the bathroom cupboard and use it when I feel my hair needs a extra bit of shine or softness.
Tresemme and Coconut oil are two great ingredients for deep conditioning. Shanika, your hair sustained a beautiful shine after the blow dry. Did you follow up with flat ironing since you did not use the leave in (heat protectant)?
I was gonna straighten afterwards it I got soo tired. So I did a braids ans went to sleep. I'll be showing the after look of the braidout shortly. Coconut oil just soo good.
Hello. If you have never tried coconut oil in your hair I would do a small section and see how your skin reacts. Some people have skin reactions. And if your fine. Once a month to see how your hair feels and maybe twice if u wash super often.
I think if it is just coconut oil alone it may not be able to grow back hair but it can certainly help keep the hair nourished and strong as it is growing so that the hair has a better chance of being retained. ❤️
I have to be very careful with coconut oil as well. the first time I used it, which was like 6 years ago, I got a terrible rash that took days to go away and eventually my skin got used to it . but I don't use it too too often it's just a nice addition to mix with my conditioner when I want a little extra softness.how does your hair feel with extra virgin olive oil? If my hair ever feels too oily or weirdly limp after rinsing it out, I will do a second rinse with a lightweight conditioner to loosen up some of the oil.
@@shanikacorb my hair loves olive oil and I get amazing results but where am at it's pretty expensive especially if you want d real deal. I'm going to try the coconut oil after my protective style challenge coz I know my hair will be weak from being away for half a year hopefully I get great results. Thank you for sharing.
@@arewahaircaretv8718 oooh darn. If you have access to aloe or vegetable Glycerin those are really good as well. I will keep up with affordable tips. 💜
