      Actually no its not kiribati well kinda but we tuvaluan have a isle in tuvalu that its Nui and they're language is kinda like kiribatis language but its not...and I'm from Nui soo jst letting u know the difference😊💜💜

      But it is Kiribati. There's another song titled "abau nui" I understand everything they say. Thou their accent is completely different from the 3 Kiribati accents. Probably Tuvaluan accent

      ​@Arthur exactly. It is believed in Kiribati history that Tungaru warriors (Kaitu and Uakeia and their warring party) sailed to Nui. From that an intermarriage between Nui people and those warriors from Tungaru occured, which resulted in Nui people being able to speak the Tungaru language, or Kiribati language.

      @@4ngrydudeNot only the accent but the words itself are different too as Nui use the Tuvaluan Alphabet instead of the Kiribati Alphabet. Although, the singing yes, they are singing in the I-Kiribati language. It’s when they are speaking you can hear the difference, but can still understand if you listen closely! For example, in I-Kiribati you’d say ‘Kam bwati n rabwa!’, but in Nui they would say it like ‘kam pasi n lapa’.

      @@tuvalumoteatua Im soo invested in this nuian language or kiribati dialect now. Im from the marshall and my family play this song on special events, this whole time I thought this song is sung in tuvaluan.. ahah. so so interesting.
