For the missing ceilings in the wide gaps I put triangle floor frames and metal barricades so that way the doors go towards raid cost, and you still have visibility.

There's no ceiling to it so you could add floors and/or barricades or do triangle frames with barricades on top to provide visibility out. It's open so technically could get over easily with ladders and bypass those initial doors if you were to raid through doors although a base like this isn't getting raided through doors unless you're getting slowly offlined.
as a dedicated solo player on monthly servers I can confirm that this base is an absolute beast! It's affordable even for a solo and it's hands down the best base that I've ever built for online protection aswell as offline!
Used this base for the last 6 wipes on a high pop 5x, not a single person has been able to raid it. The offline defence is good, not great. I don’t think it would survive a highly motivated clan attempting to raid if you were offline for the whole raid, but the online defence capabilities are insane. Defended this base last night against a 6 man with non stop pumble from a raid base. 3 raid attempts in 12 hours each time they ran out of boom. Given it was full high quality because it was a 5x but insane defence. Will never use anything but this base if am running a duo/trio.
I've used this base in 120 force wipes so far (I've been playing for 1 year) and defended it online 60 times (I play 3 hours per day I've never defended a base). Can confirm it's the best base in raft (I'm primlocked in a 2x1 with my 6 friends)
You can add a large box underneath the triangle roofs in the outer bed rooms like the locker. If you then place the beds back there is no part u can get caught on
I used a mashup of this and the crux to max a pretty amazing base that's given the group our favourite parts of each since we're old school and hate open core. Great videos Dust!
Hey, u seem like you know how to build this base pretty well. I jus built it for my first time and the bed pod rooms keep decaying and I’m not sure why. I fallowed the video completely and they still keep decaying. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

Not going to lie it took me 4 days to build this base solo on a vanilla server and geez the amount of farm you need. might i add the free hand foundations by far the hardest thing i have done in Rust. Love the base. side note I will cry if it gets raided.
@@dopecard4297 honestly time, takes a lot of time and effort to free build, especially shells and wide gaps, best go off of videos, find a shell u like and replicate it in your own way. Also practice breforw
just came across one of these in the wild, nice design. I would make one change, take the bedrooms off the main base and make them external tc's, more anti grief and should shave a chunk of upkeep off this chunky boy.
Changed it up since then, we've found it's more useful to have the VMs in there for additional storage and honeycomb.. but you're free to change it up however works for you of course
For the locker bunker thing the way to get it if you seal before your whole team gets it you just have to upgrade one and it opens it then upgrade the second one to re seal it

It is possible on console. When demolishing the low walls, use the right analog stick instead of the left as to ensure you don't move from the spot. Then, carefully switch to your build plan and select square foundation. Slightly tap the left analog stick straight down until the foundation snaps red, like dust does in the video, and finally slightly tap it forward until it turns blue on the ground in front of you! It will take lost of practice in a build server, but it is possible.
@@skiper312 ya I finally got it I found it was easier if you barely clip onto the left low wall first demolish then demolish the right and continue the steps and I got it every time after that!
Liked and subbed, awesome base and video all around! I have to ask though, I’m still pretty new to rust (100hrs) and learned alot so far but are the outer tc’s optional? Like if they’re not there will the china wall crumble? I always struggle to find a nice large flat terrain so would make it alot easier if I could just cut those out especially while learning 👍 thanks
21:57 I somehow did it on 3/4 corners of my base, but since it wasn't flat ground & after over 40 attempts I finally gave up... thats the only part I dislike about this design... there should be another way to build that....
I had the same problem on 2 corners and had to free build them? It took a few tries but I got it in the end. I have a small step in my shooting floor where u Didn't get the foundation at the same hight but it works and isn't really a problem.
on the free hand part when I place the double door frame does it need to touch the base ? because when i did it there was a tiny gap in between. btw love the base !
This base is a lot like the first one but there were some major improvements in this one I did like the old mini china wall it served as an extra layer of protection and then you could put compound around, still amazing base my trip uses this almost every wipe

Love the base and tutorial , built it as a solo, got raided by a trio and the breach peaks saved me. I killed two going up ladders and trapped the other inside. just wondering if I’m missing something the jump up chute do you HQM it first? As it seems the weakest point .
My base on build sanc is same footprint but it's from a 2by1 starter it's called duo den, and it was released before any of these bases, dam should've made a vid on it lmfao, bassicly the same base
this base is awesome but i cant help but miss the ladder hatches on the mini yeti that go from floor to the roof, however this is a more affordable design, those would have been cool to see however i just added makeshift spots for them

The early game use of the vending machines is unmatched, you guys made so much sulfur profit from it.
I do not know which version of the micro yeti I want to use! I like how this one will be cheaper without the china wall; but I like how the V1 micro yeti has turrets and peaks in the loot floors.
Can you make a base like the mini yeti but make a larger yeti with a good shooting floor and large roof and mini china wall like the regular yeti but with china wall
I like it. I see some small changes done. Also, those vendy bunkers on the roof are accessible. I've tested it myself. You can destroy the HQM wall blocking access to the vending machine and take the loot contained within the vending machine. Overall, it's still a very nice base. Keep up the awesome work Dust.
Bro that’s the point? the hqm is 16 rockets so whatever loot u depot in them won’t be the most insane loot you have just a safer way to easily depot quickly on your roof
@@zacharysnooks4911 I know that. But not everyone knows that you can do that. Also, you can just use 8 C4 if you wanted to and also access it. My point was just to let ppl who might not have known about the vending machines being accessible and putting valuable loot in them etc.

I think you forgot the inside peacks with the single door frames and the turrets I saw in the Bloodlust movie. Also, absolutley love this design!

I feel like you could expand on this design to make it more defendable in a 2x server or similar. I find I don't need more room just more defenses.

built this base on a 20x got raided 2 times while building and when i finished it i went to out post and came back in 3 minutes and i was raided again
