Tldr: yes but for comedic value
well, the animation showed two types of shot gun, two types that aren't compatible, it shows the shotgun pumping and then the shotgun breaking open. A pump shotgun uses the pump action to open the chamber and take a shell from the tube under the barrel (which is excluded from the animation) and put the shell into the barrel at the same time the fired shell is being ejected, while a break open shot gun, pivots the barrel away from the gun in a way that allows the user to put in and take out a shell in manually. The module the animator uses has the ejection port in the body of the gun for ejection of the shell when it 'pumps'. If the animator was trying to be gun correct then yes, this is an error, but based on the tone of the animation, I'd wager that the 'error' was on pourpose, because it put loony toon logic in a serious moment to make it more comidical

I may have the shows wrong based on the comments section but the voice acting souns simaler to the original little girl suzie of rugrats to me Suzie in that show was Angelica riveal and best friend kind of like a younger female version of the Goku X Vegeta dynamic but thats just in my own opinion 😅 lol 😂
