This ride is adorable. Me and my wife went on it for the first time on our honeymoon last year. Part of me really misses the Great Movie Ride though. It was always a favorite.
While I know there are many who miss The Great Movie Ride, as a relative late-comer to WDW fandom, I really enjoy this attraction! To share a recent sweet experience: a dad and little daughter (maybe 4 or 5) standing next to me in the pre-show, asking how we get to the ride ☺️ told them it is a surprise, but that we would be going into the cartoon to ride the train…the little goes girl’s eyes got big, “How?!” 😊 just answered, “you’ll see….but Goofy is going to help.” This is a fantastic capture of the experience, 4K!!
That was a really nice exchange you had!! I can definitely understand why the change was made. This ride naturally appeals to younger audiences, but even guests of all ages too! It’s a fun ride for sure and I do enjoy riding it, but my heart will forever want and miss The Great Movie Ride! Thank you so much Rick!
This attraction is wonderful. We rode it twice last month. Each time the CM were great. Thank you for the great remembrance. We’ll always remember the Great Movie and the Backstage Tour. This is a fun attraction

It's definitely a cute ride and my little guy loved it but I do miss the Great Movie Ride. Losing that ride was a real loss for the whole park. Anyway, this was a great video! You always do a great job of filming lots of little details in the queues and I appreciate it!! Thank you!
I completely agree, The Great Movie Ride will be forever missed in this park. But this ride is still fun and definitely more enjoyable for younger audiences. Thank you so much as always!
This ride is awesome, sadly I didn’t get to go there but atleast I can watch people ride it and also imagine someone doing a smiling critters version of this ride

⭐So enjoy seeing the theatre in 8K (rug, not so good LOL). The word "Mickey" is written in the squiggle near the lamp Mickey in the corner, but the DL version evidently really leans into writing even Minnie in more places. Of course. Car 1 is quite decent. Really miss only the volcano\bush scene. Not sure how a ride that based on where you sit determines how much you see is considered "gold star" entertainment, but if you wait for more than 20 minutes and get car 2, you will not experience the whole ride. TIA. RIP Great Movie Ride🎬. Thx 4💜
Hahaha those rugs are definitely in rough shape😂 It really does suck how you miss out on pieces of the scenes depending on where you sit. Ugh, I just miss The Great Movie so much😩 Thank you so much as always Liz!
I kinda hate change and as much as I might miss The Great Movie Ride, the Runaway Railway is quite an enjoyable ride. Mickey and Minnie are terrific. Thanks for taking the time and posting.
@@4KWDWFor someone who is a big classic disney fan and my first time this ride was my favourite and was top quality. This is a ride that should be at disney. Changes happen and to everyone complaining about the great movie ride not being there get a grip. This is a great update

Went to Hollywood studios and did every ride their yesterday for the 2nd time in my life, this was my third favorite in the park, second was tower of terror and first was the Star Wars rise of the resistance, very good ride also.

Finally had to admit with the cost of everything it highly likely that I'll never get to WDW again. Wanted to go on the ride before watching but now glad I watched this, what a disappointment!
