Really like the new format of your build guides. I do watch all of your build videos multiple times but I feel like putting gear first is easier to lay the structure of the build so the passives can be directly linked to what they affect from the sets.

Very fun build! I tried this rotation with different gear, as that's what I had available, and even with blue jewelry, purple enchants, and skills not fully leveled, my first attempt on the 21 mil was 93k. 56k on the 3 mil dummy. I look forward to optimizing better to see what this rotation can hit 😁
Wtf were you using? I dont get that with all gold gear and enchants. I use relequen and venomous. With masters perfected bow and I only get 43k on 3 mil and 79k on 21 mil.

Gave this build an overland try (about 5 hours so far), and it definitely succeeds in achieving high damage numbers; however the build seems a little squishy against tougher opponents that can't be taken down quickly. Two 12K shots from a world boss like Stroda wipes this build thoroughly. There's not a lot of health sustain, and using all those stamina abilities leaves little left to pop a Vigor when the fight goes sideways. Admittedly, my rotation abilities are sub-par for a build that requires meticulous rotation management; but I question whether this is a good build for the average player looking for a way to solo a lot of stuff. Also, the crows are really annoying. In any case, I appreciate your build guides. You give folks a great incentive to experiment with new things. Your Cleric healer is my absolute favorite healer, for some time now. Also, thanks for all the dungeon guides; they have been invaluable.
If I didn't want to use the Maelstrom Destro back bar with Wall of Elements could I swap it out for a Maelstrom 2-hander and use Stampede instead since both have a 10 second up time? I'm not a big fan of the Destro staff from a theme stand point and I know that Endless Hail has a 14 second up time (And Barrage with the 10 second up time isn't as much damage) which would effect the rotation to get the full effect from the Maelstrom bow so I was thinking 2-hander with Stampede. Not sure if I missed something in the video as to why that swap would be an issue or not? Yea, I know your going to say adjust as you like but I was wondering if you had maybe already tested it out.
Use agility until you can get hold of a maelstrom staff, or farm maelstrom on normal, it's very easy But as I say, buy agility from the guild store it's very cheap, use that until you get maelstrom
What are a good pair of crafted sets to mix for a friend starting out assuming I'm trying to power level them but also insulate them with crafted gear at 2 stages between level... 16 and 50 Say purpled out gear for a stamdk off this build but that will be decent with 5slot effects?
Wait the poison AOE can crit? They took away crits from AOE I thought. Or is that just from skill abilities and not set procs? But I remember a few years back, not being able to solo some dungeons in my sorc because skills like liquid lightning and the destruction staff AOE no longer could crit(it used to)

I’d probably use swords as I think that has increased crit in some form. Not sure if rending slash is an ultimate but if it’s not, a lot of two handed builds use brawler which gives a damage shield and hits multiple enemies. It’s pretty amazing against tough enemies. I was tanking a world boss. If rending slash is an ultimate, I’m not sure what to suggest. But I thought two handlers ultimate was pretty powerful as well. Could always go cliche with one of the dawnguard variants. Then the passive perk in fighters guild will increase your damage while on that skill line.

Cruor is actually a currency in FFXI abyssea zones and every time I hear it that's what I'm reminded of... Kinda glad you can't pronounce it.

I think I usually craft a level 16 set so they have the back bar covered as it unlocks at 15.

Late answer I know, but I would go with carve it does good damage, provides a small shield, and bleed for I think 12 seconds.

I do the same damage with 3000 (thief mundus) pen as I do with 7000 (lover mundus) pen in pve
