Love your golf videos. It seems to me that most of the greats had 1 thing in common, and that is they return the club rapidly to its original plane with their hands slightly in front on impact. What they do swinging back and starting off doesn't matter, but they all return back to that original plane angle on address with the hands well forward, and the right arm tucked in trying to touch the belly button.
this is incredibly interesting, i've never heard anyone explain the role of the right arm like this before......im going to try it this monday on the range and let you know how i went. it's a shame you don't live in tassie :( i'd come for a lesson once a week, im 250km from instruction so these vids are as close as i'll get. thanks and keep up the great work!!!
Nice. I was 2 degrees upright and now 1 degree flat and still getting flatter. I have not played just practiced for 4 months. I have no playing clubs either as there the wrong lie and I shank them. I will wait a little more before I get my clubs changed. I am striking the ball amazing! Just gutted i never knew this 30 years ago. .Great advice thx.
Thanks for this Bradley! I think things are starting to click for me. Now it’s a matter of when I rotate my forearms to get to the slot…some do it early in the backswing while others do it near the top.
Just watched a Shell 1965 match between Hogan and Snead . At the end of that video, Hogan demonstrates exactly what Bradley is saying..check it out on UTube....really helped me understand what Bradley is teaching.
Hi brad, mate of mine plays on the Aussie pga and has been to see geoff jones in the US. You and geoff should get together. You,re both very similar in golf philosophy. My friend has been teaching me and I,ve gone from two to scratch with the help of your vids and mates setup. Super dynamo, you're obviously not at the level to understand what brad teaches.
Bradley, what are your thoughts on Alvaro Quiros' swing? He looks fantastic shallowing and coming in from 4:30, great forearm rotation into the ball with a very bent right arm, but then rolls the clubface through impact and stalls the lower body. Interested to hear your thoughts on his swing as it is all ABS/Brad Hughes teaching method coming into impact, but after impact it is very opposite of what you teach
yeah i'll take it into consideration that's for sure, i've been struggling with my game for for years......you know how it is, hit it great one week horrible the next, change something, ruin your swing, start again etc etc
1ton... there is no magic move. It is a cohesive sequence of the body stations using correct forces and pressures to keep the club within our control. Once we learn that all we need to do is put the right amount of effort into what each shot calls for- by swing length and/or post impact speed
Bradley, love all your videos and work toward getting people playing their best golf. I've watched ALL your videos hundreds of times as well as read hundreds of pages on Advanced Ball Striking w/ Erickson. Question to you is: At the top of backswing/during transition, when you have both forearms rotated to the right with the feeling that the club face is wide open, how long does that sensation last for you coming into the strike? Do you feel like your club face is wide open coming into the ball and then the last second you are rotating your forearms as hard as you can? Or are you rotating them back to the left sooner than than just before impact? When is the correct time to fire the open/rotated forearms?
I can't hear what he is saying ! ! Is it me or his video ? On one of his videos , he was talking about the right arm , I'll use the term " laid - off " , i tried it and am killing the ball ...... like a part that has been missing for a long time that's now back . It worked so well that i'm afraid i'll miss something important in other videos because of their being no sound .
Hey you tubers ! There's a trick for the proper use of the right arm and the whole industry covers it ! Keep searching !!! It is not a feel ; it is purely technical coz you are dealing with multiple levers ! a hint ? Newton 3rd Law !!!
Been trying to use my right arm this way. Feels so wrong, no power etc etc. Feels like the swing is being dominated by the arms rather than a turn. You have to move the club about 180degress with your wrists and forearms. Considering impact is everything, and everything Ive ever learnt has told me to not let my arms dominate the swing. Is this all bullshit then? Are the arms MEANT to dominate the swing?
This guy is a two-time Australian Masters champion; just a little tournament won by the likes of Adam Scott and Tiger Woods. He might know a thing or two about the golf swing.
Bully for you SuperDynamo. Maybe you will learn something about golf with your $400. Hows the audio here? Up to scratch or will you find something else to moan about?
Bradley..please!!!! No muestres tantas veces el mal movimiento !!! uno se confunde!!!..cual es el mejor drill para realizar el movimiento correcto"!!!. Todo el video mostras lo que NO hay que hacer.....Gracias
Bradley... Please! Not show so many times the bad movement! one is confused!... which is the best drill to make the correct move"!. All the video show what NOT to do..... Thank you
I agree with some others, too many demonstrations about how not to swing right, rather than just showing us the right way to swing. I already know about a 1000 ways not to hit the ball right..... It would be nice if you could focus on the positive and just demonstrate your big secret in slow motion to give us a chance to try it.... thnx....
Brilliant video! Clearly a number of viewers don’t understand the importance of being shown what not to do as well as what to do!!
Great videos, I have watched them all many times and finally the thoughts are clicking and the feel is becoming natural
Great video again Bradley. Been at this for a year or so using your coaching and my game is super solid right out of the car. Thanks mate.

Thank you for these videos. I have been trying to shallow out my swing and create a consistent low point and your insights have really helped.

Nice video... good instruction.
Is there any video with swing speed comparison for yr flattish downswing and more vertical DS.
Thank you
Love the videos Brad. How should one go about learning and practicing your ideas?
Fantastic advice. Thank you!

2:11 is that Chubbs? May he rest in peace

Extremely helpful! Just a pity about the conspiracy from a number of sources affecting the sound quality!

great video as always bradley. don't rise to people like superdynamo. very insightful critique that. well done.
Shut up and listen
Your videos are great and as always the AUDIO always sucks

As did Vardon Sarazen Jones etc before him

I’m confused about the release. I can’t make the left shoulder go faster than the club head through impact.
@@JohnWetherill-r4l cos you are using hands and not forearms to release the club
How flat do you recommend clubs be from stock / factory?
@@joshlittlejohn5163 1-2 flatter will help
I can't hear what he is saying ! ! Is it me or his video ? On one of his videos , he was talking about the right arm , I'll use the term " laid - off " , i tried it and am killing the ball ...... like a part that has been missing for a long time that's now back .

Hogan found this out years before anyone else
How flat were your clubs in your competitive days? Did all the greats as you say snead trevino nicklaus palmer all have flat lie angles? Even sergio?
Well there we go
He does better one-handed than I do with both hands.
good instruction
this is golden! this is the secret
yeah cheers man, i'll let you know how it goes :P
Hey you tubers ! There's a trick for the proper use of the right arm and the whole industry covers it ! Keep searching !!! It is not a feel ; it is purely technical coz you are dealing with multiple levers ! a hint ? Newton 3rd Law !!!
Cho co just tell us the trick
"Divot halfway to China" had me laughing :) Great video
I can't even hit the ball like that with 2 hands.
check out my website....page 5 discusses the process of my drills and how I incorporate the learning

Bradley has genuine capability, not a "would be that could be"
Keep your rotation going
"The secret's in the Hughes"

If what you're saying is important then your audio should be too.
haha that was awesome.."the divot is halfway to china"
every time you get up to hit the ball you stop and talk lol

Disagree entirely. If it wasnt for him pointing out EXACTLY what i was doing wrong, i would have been very lost
