A little look at what and why I started to play the cello. Had tons of requests asking about it, and wanting more music so here it is. If you have any more questions I'll be glad to reply to them.
Fascinating video. I've watched your videos for some time and would not have thought of you as a musician. You're a great teacher in the shop with all of your projects. Thanks for sharing the story of your musical career.
AMEN. i started playing the Mountain Dulcimer a couple years back and have started going to Open Acoustic jams. They are in need of a Bass Player. I have been thinking about trying to learn Bass Guitar or Standup Bass. THANK you for sharing your gift of Music with all of use. May God Bless you and your Family
The church jam (The Blessing) was heavy. I was genuinely moved. You guys sounded excellent, too. The singer did an excellent job building the intensity across the song (great dynamics). Thanks for sharing. :)
Nice video even though I can’t hear it I’m deaf . I’m 65 I’ve been deaf since I was 45 due to brain tumor and surgery. I never had the desire to play anything I can’t carry a tune in a sack. My dad could play guitar and base guitar he played in our local band where I live . My older brother can play guitar, 12 string guitar, banjo, piano, clarinet, and never took a lesson he’s one of those people that can play about anything . He’s a preacher and plays in his church these days quite a bit.
Cheers for that, enjoyed hearing about your journey very much. If you are not a "natural", but learnt it the hard way, you would make a very good teacher, gifted people struggle to teach, because they cant understand why the student can't just play it like they can, and they dont know how to teach it, as they could always "just do it", never had to be taught.
Take care and God Bless my friend! I really enjoyed the video... well done!
