I was pursuing something else when I got my JRF , so i did't apply for PhD last year... because If I wanted to do that I had to leave my another degree in halfway. I will apply for PhD this year... But let me tell you one thing(the saddest thing) about PhD. It is very uncertain, getting addmission is really tough (the process is very hidden sort of)... No one will tell you this (but the reality is Approach matters here... Your link matters.) But still let's try our best.
