Never had a hobby horse before but wanted one and this is a cheap and easy way to have one!hoping to find the needed tools/items for making the hobby horse of my dreams!
You seem like such a kind person. I recently bought a barrel and my mom made me a pretend saddle so I can practice my horse riding at home, and I wanted a horse head so I could practice with reins!
I made one for my 3 year old and she loved it so much! Very cute design and easy to follow. I had a hard time with the stitching, though, it just wasn’t working out and I decided to just do the glue. I’m sure it’ll need repairing but so far so good!
Oh fun! We're glad she loved it! Yeah, the stitching get hard sometimes but hot glue works almost as well! lol We hope your 3 year old has a blast riding their horse around! :D
I made one so far for my youngest in stead of buying a dowels I used some think sticks and took off the bark put on some mod podge on the stick and it turned out great even though the sock is red and white lol cost me nothing to make had everything I needed
Thanks for the question! Here are the links to the socks we used for the project! funsockcity.com/collections/womens-fuzzy-socks/products/womens-cozy-crew-socks Or funsockcity.com/collections/womens-fuzzy-socks/products/womens-ragg-crew-socks Either set would be fun for the project and there is an assortment of colors to choose from. :D
Thanks for watching! I tried to translate "to neni" and I'm thinking you're saying this is not a hobby horse. Please forgive me if I'm wrong. But I just wanted to let you know that in America, these kinds of things are often referred to as a "hobby horse" or a "stick horse." I know there are lots of variations all over the world, though, so I just wanted to clarify. I hope you find what you're looking for! Best wishes!
I made the horse tuned out great!! thank you very much!!
You are welcome 😊
