Great video! As an island resident I want to thank all the fine crew members and Public Works Employees who make my living in this great community possible through their efforts. I have always wanted a look below decks, so thanks especially for that to the video creators.
I use to live on Lummi Island in the seventies and ride this ferry everyday and night. We would go to Bellingham for fun and try to get back before 10 PM at night. If You didn't make it Your outta luck. We had a crash pad in Bellingham just in case. Always remember the Whatcom Chief. Went back about 10 years ago and next to where the Ferry was is a big Indian Casino.I guess that's progress.
