      Tourism isn't restricted in Kashmir. You are most welcome to visit Kashmir anytime. While even native Tibetans aren't given permits to visit Tibet. Not to forget the holy mountain 🏔️ Mt. Kailash and surrounding Mansarovar Lake which is extremely difficult for foreigners to visit.

    Me and my then GF now wife had the great good fortune to visit Tibet individually and without permits in the summer of 1987. Tibetan people are so friendly and at that time Tibet was opening up to tourism and the world at large. Unfortunately major riots and a resulting crack down happened in September 1987. At that time the only travel connection options were a bus which we took from Qinghai on the way in and flights which we used when leaving to go to Chengdu. Wishing you a safe journey.

      It really a challenging task for India. First India don't have advance technology to support their infrastructure development if invite foreign developer there will be more costly. Second India government don't have enough budget for infrastructure development, compare with China, the Chinese government among every year allocated around 6 to 10% of the GDP to infrastructure development, if Indian government invest the same among of money that about 40% of India GDP, this will instantly cause the bankruptcy of India government.

    Don't compare this with Indian railway 40h train journey. In 40 hour you can travel 2000 to 2500 KM. This slow train with significant ghat section would cover 4000 plus KM in 40 hour,way faster than the fastest long distance train in India. Considering overall service standard, it's not expensive. Way better than any Rajdhani or Durinto.

    • @techcloud2510
      @techcloud2510 10 месяцев назад +4

      thats right, and we do not have train to Ladakh, when its made it will be very expensive. Plus harsh weather maintenance low crowd and expensive infra to build this line. There was a video on the challenging snow situation in Tibet - thermafrosting. I would say after all that the price is very low and the speed is amazing - 4000 km in 40 hr means 100kmph average for such a long distance journey.

    • @billiards954
      @billiards954 10 месяцев назад +11

      @@techcloud2510 All Chinese slow trains maintain 100 to 120 kmph average speed. All trains are air-conditioned including the cheapest hard seats, minimal jerking and track sound noise, running drinking water with hot water, extremely clean and very punctual. These slow trains account for only 30% of Chinese trains, rest are high speed CRH trains. By 2030 there will be no slow trains, all to be replaced by CRH. Even then we will be using ICF coaches and our average speed will be langushing from 40 to 55 for most trains, 65 for few SF trains and 70 to 85 for fewer so called premium trains with misareble punctuality ,safety or cleanliness, corrupt TT E s or RPF guys will be collecting money from without ticket passengers and pantry staff will charge double than the IRCTC rates for very poor food. Thinking of comparison with Chinese railway system itself is a crime.

    Before 2030, China plans to build the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, which will make it more convenient for people to travel. Because there are 200,000 Tibetans living in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, it is convenient for them to travel to and from their homes. Moreover, the economy of Chengdu is far better than that of Xining. The major cities in Tibet are also along this railway, which can very well promote the economic development of Tibet.

    The reason that the ticket price is so high is because of two reasons:- One, China has higher GDP Per Capita and thus higher prices and Two, unlike India, China does not subsidizes its passenger fares. In India, the actual ticket price is never charged from passengers, rather, what we get is the subsidized amount. Railways bears 43% of the the actual cost of the ticket and 57% is paid by the passenger, which is why passenger railways always runs into losses and freight runs in profit and freight's profits are used to subsidize the passenger railways.
    A real life example is that a train ticket from Jammu to Ahmedabad in 2nd AC class on a superfast train actually costs 4605. But the fare paid by a passenger per seat is Rs 2625/- and Rs. 1980/- is borne by the Railways. We aren't thankful enough of our govts.

    • @alexzhang1897

      But still indian railway is largest profitable entity of govt of india

    • @Invincible_joe
      @Invincible_joe 10 месяцев назад

      @@Ponseng123 It is because Railways further down has many profitable ventures such as ConCor, DFCCI, IRCTC, IRFC, IRCON,RITES, RVNL and RailTel, which generate profits. In the meantime, passenger railway runs into heavy operational losses and ticketing subsidies do no good either.

      @@postahundredcommentsbutonl4408 Classic propaganda by the China communist party. Mongol Yuan Dynasty never had Tibet under its control- Source: Tibet Brief 2020- International lawyer Van Walt and inner Asia scholars including Chinese scholars corroborate this fact. The Chinese communist party(CCP) narrative has always been shifting of Tibet being its part during the Mongol Yuan to Manchu Qing Rule- which is it? Tibetan government performed its own administrative duties in "Tibet Autonomous Region" as well as Kham, and Amdo regions which the CCP now occupies illegally. The 13th Dalai Lama declared independence due to illegal Qing force in the preceding years encroaching on Kham region, eastern Tibet. Prominent Chinese professor Hon-Shiang Lau went so far to show with sources approved in library database of China that Imperial China never considered Tibet to be under its control.

    Bharata and Turkey have the same strategic dilemma: the surrounding circle is either the enemy, or the face and heart of the discordant quasi-enemy 😂 heart is higher than the sky, they all consider themselves to be a regional hegemon, but unfortunately fate is as thin as paper, because the real historical strategic opportunity period can be said to be all missed, World War I, World War II, the Cold War, the reform and opening up of the European and American supply chain migration, at this stage, it seems to be jumping left and right, the world is coaxing, but there is no real strategic benefit (I have not seen any real strategic industries and key technologies open to Bharata and Turkey)
