Reading is such an amazing way to relax when we are passing through bad times.
I am reading so much since the pandemic started in my country that I started a booktube channel!
i bought a bunch of Wilbur Smith's books. Fantastic author. If you haven't read him start off with Assegai. Other books to get you started will be Monsoon and Blue Horizon in that order. ( he has about 30 or so total) Will keep you entertained for days......
I WANT ALL THESE AUTHORS TO HAVE BOOK GROUP DISCUSSION BUT ON VIDEO CALLS, IT WOULD BE SO COOL! RUclips, I LOVE YOU.

checking out "GERMANY MUST PERISH!" (*1936*)by T . Kaufmann where he mentions the term "the final solution" in reference to eradicating germans by sterilizing them, one means suggested was the use of vaccines. This is the first known use of this term , which i have heard repeated recently (mr gates?) well before what they taught you in high school history class :)
Wow, that was a waste of time. No wonder you received so many thumbs down. So, basically "bestselling authors" reveal what kinds of vapid drivel they read in their spare time, and then John Grisham plugs his friend's book. I feel elevated in the face of encountering this feeble horsecrap.
The Alchemist is an amazingly fabulous price of art and I love that book so much and I would recommend it to everyone

Glad to see the inclusion of booktubers! I'm reading "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black, a YA High-Fantasy about the High court of the fey. It provides much needed escape and fun.
The book I am currently reading is by a new author Janet J Jones, it's called The Medium: A Supernatural Novella, it's a short read and very entertaining.
The only book should give us pace and joy is the Holy Bible!!!

The Bible is amazing and is the truth. But that doesn’t mean that it is the only book we should enjoy! Reading a wide variety of books helps you to understand different perspectives. If exploring faith is what you’re looking for, there are plenty of books that could help you explore your faith and grow closer to the word of the Bible!

I disagree with the fact that Lewis beat Vitaly. I think Vitaly got robbed. The fact the Lewis didnt fight him again after seeing in person with a scared look Vit annihilate Kirk Johnson. He decided to go in to sunset. In my eyes Lewish tarnished his legacy
I just finished “Bloody Genius” by John Sandford and am currently reading “Just Kids” by Patti Smith, a nonfiction book about her early years in NY and her relationship with Robert Maplethrope. I am also listening to the audiobook “Conviction” by Denise Mina.

I've recently read Colsen Whitehead's "The Underground Railroad" and "Nickle Boys." I strongly recommend these books, both of which won the Pulitzer Price for fiction. I also read "American Dirt" recently, which was also great. And no, I'm not a liberal, I just love great writing and being provided a different perspective on things. The reading experience is far superior to any movie or TV series (except for something rare like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul).
The Memoirs of Lady Trent by Marie Brennan. Alternate universe Victorian era with dragons, and a noble lady wants to break the mold and become a draconic scholar. Addresses gender roles, sexism, classism, all while still being fascinating and character-driven. Can't recommend it enough.
Jay Shetty's eyes are striking.

some of these so called "authors" are reading children books and sound so uneducated on literature.
So called authors?? What does that mean? If someone has written a book, they are an author. Also, everything doesn't have to be literature with a capital "L" in order for it to be of value. Reading for pleasure is allowed and encouraged.
