A phenominal report Pip, many thanks for taking the time to share with us as you respond to the day, recover from the previous day and plan for your and Medallia's tomorrows. A good reminder that sailing isn't about a continuum of some handful of skillsets and activities to achieve a goal but is a mix of life, living, being and responding to changing surroundings, getting thwarted, wet and repeat. Seeing your workload and hearing your strategies is inspiring but iIt is a greater privelege sharing your break outs and "me time" on deck.
Dear Pip Hare, I watched you 2020 and now on RUclips with my Smartphone. I am 81 years old and German. My English isn't very well, please excuse‼️ You really had big problems last time and you looked very tired and not really happy. I feel really sad for that. 😢😮 But you also Showeinlagen the speed from 39.6 knots - amazing! And the juge waves. How bad, that everything is cold and wet😢 I also love the warm sun! ❤☀️🌞🌊🌎 And you expect really hard days⁉️⛵️🛟 Please, take care for you and your boat. I keep my fingers crossed 💙💙✊️✊️🤞🤞 I liked your little laughing😊😊 My best wishes from North-Germany
I just find what you are doing so incredibly brave and extraordinary. Thank you for sharing as much as you do ...the raw emotion, the losses, the wins. You are incredible.
Great, Pip! GO! All the hard work is wo worth it and you haven't lost a place! Super! Incredible picture. Thank you for taking us onto this wonderful journey.
Great work from your shore team in evaluating the keel fault and your perseverance in getting it fixed. Keep your spirits up Pip, we are all behind you.
We can only imagine how tough this race is. Easy watching from here and looking at position in the race, wanting you to be further up in the positions. But we're not racing or suffering from the conditions. Keep it up, you're doing great!
Altogether lots of news Pip. I loved the broad smile as you hung onto a backstay on the transom and smiiiiiled. Oh what a time you are having. I liked your reasoning about being on the floor, but what struck me the most was how gleeful you were in Beaufort 6/7 sea state! You are a great source of mirth at times, and courage and skill all the time.
Magnificent, Amazing, Beautiful! These were your words to describe your environment; you’re certainly in your element Pip. Thank you for all you share ⛵️🍾❤️
In our PIP, we have faith. An old trawler man said to me years ago: Don't stand up if you can sit down and don't sit down if you can lie down. I don't think he had been in the southern ocean, just the North sea and North Atlantic. But same applies it seems?
Pip you are not being punished, you are teaching I learn from you almost every day! Thanks. (I am amazed about the relay...I wouldn't know where to start a job like that. You must have one hellova team!
What a brave and talented lass! To take apart 2 relays, then assemble a working one, is not what I thought sailors did! keep going in the winds & waves; Pip deserves to finish in the top 3!
Really hard week, well done. As I watch you beeing in good mood, I see the message on the Vendee Globe App😮 and remember a german comedian saying "If one weight/stone gets off your heart it drops on your foot." So: Good luck with the repair of the bulkhead.
Wow incredible video, it just tells me this is not a life for me. Even thought I love sailing this would kill me. 😂😂 one question. Pip how come you are not clipped in when on deck? If you get knocked off that is that right? Am I missing something?
For your team on shore,…..the winning cars in the Le Mans race,…..nothing goes in the car unless it has been bolted in the car and tried,..this is MOST important when parts go into the store, they know it fits ,and it works……best of luck
Dear Pip, I saw your boat on Nov-8th in Les Sables and waved you farewell on Sunday the 10th I am wondering why you are doing this to yourself Stay vigilant and come back safely Hubert from Germany

It's amazing how such a plucky blue-eyed gem of the sea can be so happy in such conditions. You're a winner Pip!

Thank you for doing this… these reports are truly grand. Thanks again… Lead Footed Sailor, Pip! Slow down… 39.6 knots. Is too fast. BLONDAGE!
