I looked up flordia laws. Look how close the trailers are and the fact they recorded audio.
Florida's recording law is a "two-party consent" law, which means that all individuals involved in a private conversation must consent to any audio recording of the conversation to be legal.12 The law makes it a crime to intercept or record a "wire, oral, or electronic communication" in Florida, unless all parties to the communication consent. However, Florida law makes an exception for in-person communications when the parties do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the conversation, such as when they are engaged in conversation in a public place where they might reasonably be overheard.0 Children under the age of 18 are allowed to secretly record oral conversations if they are being physically or sexually abused.3 Florida is one of the few states that generally prohibits the recording of private conversations except in limited circumstances.4

@@emerygray5945 It's conspicuously posted, precedent regards conspicuous signage as providing notification under applicable law. The park does, however, have the right to set regulations and unlike satellite dishes and antennas for TV and radio is not prohibited by federal law from restricting them. The wiretapping law is moot here. It's a dispute between park owner and tenant, and would be civil contract law/landlord-tenant law not criminal law. If I were her, though, I'd move too, since Florida is hostile to the non-cishet non-pale at least at the legislative and gubernatorial level.

That also isn't legal. They don't do anything but generate revenue. @@joltjolt5060 when you’re renting, you are the king. That’s why even the owner of the property cannot remove you without due process. All rentals are private property but their landlord does not have power over the tenants rights. Tenants do not lose their rights just because they are tenants. the whole idea that a private corporation can abuse your rights is so far from the truth. But in this case, it’s absolute law. The guy in the car obviously has no clue about the law. He didn’t even bother hiring a lawyer to find out whether he was abusing the tenants rights. If they would’ve sued him, it would’ve been much more costly for him then whatever concern he had with the cameras being in place.

@gfydrama there is no such thing as the wrong kind of picture in public. If it’s in public, it could be recorded. If your eyes can see it, you have a right to record it. It doesn’t matter if it’s sensitive to some people, if they don’t like it, they can leave. If you go to the beach, you have no expectation of privacy. If someone wants to record you on the beach they have every right to do so.

@gfydrama Taking photos is a protected 1st Amendment right. As long as you are on public property, you can take a photo of anything you like. Having a camera, and using a camera in, or on your own private residence is also protected. The property owner could say you can't have a gun, but the constitution overrides that private property rule. You cannot infringe on someone's right just because you are leasing property. It's the Dunning-Kruger effect: the least bright people are the most confident in their assessment of their intellect while the really intelligent ones are the least confident and the most aware of what they don't know, therefore open to new information. There are more of the former than the latter in the US.

If they say "you can't have cameras" or "you can't record audio" and cite some law, you can use your smartphone to fact-check the owner in real time and immediately know if he's lying before his mouth even stops moving.

Before i bought a house i lived in a mobile home park and i was robbed.i called the police and even though everyone was outside nobody saw anything.
I immediately put up high end cameras.
The landlord told me to take them down.
I told him that unless they installed cameras to catch the thiefs I'm keeping them up. 2weeks later my cameras caught a thief breaking into my truck and I used the video as evidence in court. And then 1 month later another person broke into my truck and the cops did nothing until the following day when they came back to inform me that a car shop was robbed the same night by the same person so back to court I went with more video evidence.
The funny thing is that when everyone realized that the cameras were real the partying throughout the night stopped near my place. And most of the neighbors agreed that they also should put up cameras. The landlord was getting calls from the annoying people about the cameras but the crime dropped to zero and the partying all night stopped and the dealers moved out.
(Deer cams can be jammed but hardwired cameras cant be jammed to my knowledge.)
I have cameras around my house now and any future place i get will have cameras installed.

They must be related to the owner of our trailer court. His favorite thing to do is get drunk and ride around on his quad, yelling at people for things he lets other people do.
For us, he keeps threatening to evict us because of the dog we got, that he approved of. I tried to get it in writing but he refused, now I know it's because it gives him something to throw a tantrum about.
He also yells at one of my neighbor's because she has a camper in her driveway, which so many other people have, but he also like to tell her it's bothering us, when we have already told her that we like it parked there because it stops the sun from shining straight into our living room.
Everyone here is sick and tired of him, except two old ladies who walk around all day, looking for things to go to him and tattle about, everyone is sick of them as well.
He's a real life Lahey, except when you start standing up for yourself, this one takes off on his quad because he doesn't want to hear it.

Perhaps you can post some details of how that would work; where would they get the millions of dollars to buy it; who would be the trustees and it would then be just like a HOA (homeowners association) and instead of a park owner that does not like you but takes your money, now it is your neighbor that does not like you.

I'm not taking the trailer park's side on this but - if there's such a problem, then she either needs to find another trailer park where she can have her cameras up and be away from the person who owns this trailer park or she will need to talk to a lawyer. I'm not a fan of anyone in the QT+ community as I do find most of them entitled and arrogant, but as someone in business law here from a legal standpoint, this is what I know; she can have cameras on her property. As long as it's attached to her house the owners of the trailer park can't stop her from recording. She can sue for that. Those saying that the owner slandered her however - defamation would be hard to prove even if it was recorded because his word against hers, he could explain that it was his opinion. Calling her hateful, vengeful and mean is an opinion. If he were to slander her by saying something that's not true like for example only; "she kicks puppies on Monday and Tuesdays." It's a poor example but, that's slander. Calling her hateful, vengeful would not constitute. Now, I do know that some trailer parks here do not allow you to hang up flags. That has been fought in court and has been ruled as unconstitutional. The owner of the park is shady. I would say that she isn't the problem but if I wa sher, I'd still move...especially since the owner seems extremely shady.
