@@Morocko74 Actually I purchased them about a year ago. I am just getting around to testing them. The 120 set was available up til the last time I checked which was about a month ago. Hopefully they will restock them soon.
I am so glad to see you getting back to your mixed media roots. I have missed the color pencil, marker, and pastel videos. I love the watercolor videos, but I really love the fact that you use many mediums that cater to all.
Thank you for reviewing MARKART. I'm glad to know you recommend these. So if I'm looking to increase my number of pencils by adding substantially more to my Prismacolor set of 24, is this most likely an economical to do so until I can afford a larger Prismacolor set? And please notice I did not bug you about a Black Widow review in well over a week now lol. EleanorNeedlewoman
@@EleanorBlount lol yes it has been a while. I will have to check to make sure they are on the artist wish list. I thought they were, but now that you mention it I will recheck. I haven’t purchased them because I am on a no buy. All the products that have been tested, and reviewed throughout 2024 have been donated to the studio by D.A.C.A. I will be sure to check the list again. If not I will purchase them as soon as I exit my no buy.
@@EleanorBlount You are welcome. These are soft. Maybe not as soft as Prismacolor. Plus this set won’t leave as waxy of an appearance as Prismacolor due to it having more of an oil content then wax. With that said I don’t see why you couldn’t use them together. The richness in the colors of the two sets would definitely complement each other.
@@thethriftyapprentice Thank you so much, Ken. This is incredibly helpful. Also, I truly love the card and handmade sketch/note book included in the box. I have shown all my friends. EleanorNeedlewoman
I do really like my Brutfuner pencils- but I don't think they are soft. Maybe they are more "wax" in shared production lines. But I could also be so swayed by prismacolor!
Yes Prismacolor does have the tendency to spoil us! lol They are just so super soft. The Brutfuner macaron set is the one I felt was comparable. Not in all aspects, but have a lot of similar qualities.
Hello all. This color pencil set was pretty amazing for the price.
Did you acquire the 120 count set recently? I have been looking for the 120 set but only found the 72 count on Amazon.

Thank you for posting this. I haven't tried oil based colored pencils, but i would buy these to get my feet wet and test drive these.
@@difficult.e I am not normally an oil based pencil person. However, I enjoyed using these.

Did you sharpen any? I've come across brands that seem fine on first use and then break and break when I try to sharpen.
Yes the segment where I talked about the lead being centered. Talked about sharpening the pencil. 15:02
