What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Dr SRP ASMR I’ve been watching your videos during the start of lockdown and have learned a lot while getting loads of triggers from the asmr I would say great job you deserve more subs
When I was a child, my dad was an optometrist who had his own practice. So, I was sometimes able to go into his exam room while he was with a patient. I loved listening to the noises his various equipment made. I didn’t know what ASMR was, but I sure felt it.
I read that too quickly and thought to myself “What does Mr Brown’s dad being an opportunist have to do with this ASMR video..?” I’m an idiot.
No decent doctor would allow a child into his office.

I love those clicking sounds of those instruments 😊 i have a suggestion if you have a minute: you could fix the cameras lense in a way that the background (with the letter sheet) is a bit out of focus. And then you do a whole eye exam where you put something on the camera so we look through one eye of the thing where you slide the lenses in and out. Over the course of the video you can give us the right prescription so that the background and the sheet with the letters is in focus.

Dr SRP ASMR if you’re using an iphone, i’m pretty sure you can hold a lease to the frame and hold onto the screen to auto lock it. it should make it blurry, but idk how long it works. youtube may have a video explaining better or with a better method
I always find myself coming back to these older videos. Love your new content too, but there's something so comforting about the simplicity in these older videos that really makes me relax.

Video(s) idea : Teach us. How the eyes work? How to use some of the tools? Definitions, diagrams, what are some diseases or conditions like astigmatism,etc. optometrist vs ophthalmologist? What was 20/20, 20/15 vision mean. Etc etc. steps required to be an eye dr.

I swear that phoropter device is the most satisfying thing ever created, it makes the best noises and such a wonderful variety, great clicks and clunks. I would pay my eye doctor just to test my vision all day if I could
I have been watching you since you began and I have always thought you would become one of the best ASMR video makers on RUclips. I am so glad you are over 200K followers now - almost 300k! You deserve every one and more. I continued to watch videos by other old favorites. Tonight I joined a live meeting of an old favorite, and I listened for a bit then thought, "Nobody comes close to SRP any more" and dropped. I watch you nearly nightly to relax. Your voice and what you do cannot be topped. You occasionally do a funny video, but your basic presentation of actual practices of an optometrist are so effective because it's your occupation and you have access to authentic equipment and know how to use it. For may of us, going for eye exams is relaxing because of the personal attention, I think. Your videos are so intimate, like you are speaking to us directly and examining our eyes. I can't thank you enough, SRP. Nobody does it better.

This is my favourite ASMR RUclips channel, visual triggers are the most asmr inducing for me so somebody that is incredibly enthusiastic about optometry is ideal for me
