Beltre was a tough one given no one thinks of him as a Dodger anymore. The 2 other bigger guys you missed in the 70s were Foster and Allen, but otherwise, seems like you got all the names that really mattered. Rest of the names seem like guys that I wouldn't expect pretty much anyone to get.
I refuse to accept a non Geoguesser Monday video. Instead of complaining, I will offer 5 tips to assist in next week’s episode: 1. France is the only country with blue stickers on telephone poles 2. Montenegro/Albania has a large rift line in the sky 3. Taiwan has telephone poles with a black and yellow 🚧 design that goes to the bottom (Japan has similar poles but the 🚧 doesn’t go to the bottom) 4. Tunisia has a follow car 5. Japan has some street poles with a downward red rocket looking thing that points to the fog line of the road. Those Geo God Guys just need to lock in, stay linked, and they are sure to get back to Gold where a banana cream soda awaits!
If I may add, any countries that don't use latin-based alphabets will have the country/city names both in english and the native language below it on the map itself, making it easier to do some pattern recognition if you see a sign thereby helping narrow the searching radius
It's funny, because your admitted blank spot for the West coast cost you some people in other parts of the country. Giants fans always remember Darrell Evans while A's fans of that same era remember Tony Armas quite fondly.
How did the '73 Braves come in 5th in the NL West when they had 3 of the top 5 Home Run hitters in the league? And Hank Aaron hit the least of the 3... WTF?!?!
180/200 after ten minutes. Couldn't figure anyone out after about eight minutes. I think the biggest miss for me would have been Luzinski. For some reason his name was drawing a blank in my head. Fun quiz! Haven't thought about most of these names in years!
Eddie Murray, Jim Thome, Bonds, Griffey, Sosa, Palmeiro, Frank Thomas, Pujols, McGwire, Manny, Ortiz.. From the 80’s and 90’s, McGriff, Jack Clark, Bagwell, maybe George Foster?..
178/200 Only one I missed that I see as kind of egregious was Greg Vaughn. Other than that, I missed Ogilvie because I just kept spelling it wrong, missed Luzinski and Glenn Davis and then the guys like Jeff Burroughs and Rick Monday who only their moms would get.
If you had me in the room, we solve this thing in minutes: I'm sitting here shouting players from the 1970s and 1980s, yet when you guys pull names from the 2000s, I'm going "oh yeah... him." Our combined forces would have been unstoppable mwahahahahaha
I’ve been yelling Thome for 6 minutes
Same here
😂😂
For me was strawberry haha
I was screaming George Foster.
Hard to watch millennials guess 70s and 80s players 😂
Going forward could you guys put the quiz link in the show info so we can try before we watch? :) Thank you. Love the content
BBD in more content is exactly what I need
At a certain point, this became a game of "will they remember that one Beltre year?" everything else was phenomenal work.
The first player that came to my mind with the 1970s Reds is Johnny Bench. I’m shocked they couldn’t think of him.
His last MLB appearance was almost a decade before either of them were born, probably why they don't know him.
George Foster was the one i kept yelling.

I would've guessed Raul mondesi as well
I’m missing those Geo God guys!
Love the Sporcle content!
A good tip, whenever dealing w/ the late-'70s and early-'80s, always try Georges, Foster and Brett. They were both huge during that era.
As a Dodger fan whose first year following baseball was ‘04 I always think of Beltre as a Dodger. I understand though that others would forget that.
The whole time I was hoping they'd guess Beltre but 2004 felt way too early to me
Would love to see Rose try to tackle this at some point!

Here’s to hoping the post a surprise Tuesday Geoguessr
2 guys whisper men's names for 20 minutes
Props for the Dave "King Kong" Kingman pull Jake!
As old head. Only thought of foster on the older ones. Names popped up and I was like oh yeah for most.
I got 166/200. The ones I am most embarrassed to miss were Juan Gonzalez and George Foster.
Where tf is GeoGuesser
I enjoy these Sporcle's because I am just screaming names at my screen
184/200. Shocked that you didn’t just put Johnson since it’s a generic last name. Im upset that I didn’t get Dick Allen or Rob Deer.
It's funny, because your admitted blank spot for the West coast cost you some people in other parts of the country. Giants fans always remember Darrell Evans while A's fans of that same era remember Tony Armas quite fondly.
Oh I was hyped when they finally thought of Kingman
I played at home before watching this video and got the average, 64%. I was really happy I got Beltre, Sexson, Justice, McGriff, and Tino.
How did the '73 Braves come in 5th in the NL West when they had 3 of the top 5 Home Run hitters in the league? And Hank Aaron hit the least of the 3... WTF?!?!
Lmao their average must’ve been piss poor
I bet their pitching was pretty bad. Can't win games just by scoring runs, gotta prevent runs also
Dick Allen is so underrated. I was just screaming about him.
180/200 most annoying misses were Dick Allen & George Scott. Not sure how I think of those easy last names.
I'm old, so the first names that came to my mind were Dawson, Stargell and Foster. Not to forget Reggie. :)
Good job though.
I've been yelling chipper Jones and Daryl Strawberry for 5 minutes
185/200. almost.
Not Geoguessr today?
We do not want this. We want our GeoGod Guys
180/200 after ten minutes. Couldn't figure anyone out after about eight minutes.
I think the biggest miss for me would have been Luzinski. For some reason his name was drawing a blank in my head. Fun quiz! Haven't thought about most of these names in years!
95.5% Fred Lynn and Lee May were the two I was mad about forgetting.
Isn't BBD like 17? How the hell does he know 70 and 80s baseball history.
no link to the quiz??
Eddie Murray, Jim Thome, Bonds, Griffey, Sosa, Palmeiro, Frank Thomas, Pujols, McGwire, Manny, Ortiz..
From the 80’s and 90’s, McGriff, Jack Clark, Bagwell, maybe George Foster?..
I thought FOR SURE that the '86 Twins would have been Puckett or Hrbek...never in my life would I have guessed Gary Gaetti...
"Play yourself guys!" Has no link in the description
This is not geoguessr. 😑
this made me feel so old
Haven’t even watched yet but yes, more beebers
164/200. Twas on the struggle bus with the 80s. Also missed Beltre- frick.
Love this video but Im just sweating out you guys not saying Beltre the whole time
I got 84% with 168 right. My most glaring miss was Palmeiro.
You guys did okay. Some of the names I would not have figured out on my own, from forgetting them.
George Foster was a big oversight to me…but I do live in Southwest Ohio.
Wanted to watch this but the font is too small to watch on a phone.
I want to do this I need the link
178/200
Only one I missed that I see as kind of egregious was Greg Vaughn. Other than that, I missed Ogilvie because I just kept spelling it wrong, missed Luzinski and Glenn Davis and then the guys like Jeff Burroughs and Rick Monday who only their moms would get.
Got 76/200 with my limited knowledge of MLB history. I was just guessing common surnames towards the end
From across the pond? I only ask because no one says surname in the states
@@meh6897 no I'm just weird
Piazza,Thome
I was saying Beltré since 6 minutes into the video
Adrian Beltran forever slept on
I was screaming Jim Thome for so long lol
Matt Williams, Luis Gonzalez, Adrian Beltre, etc...some low key guys should be on this list, didn't Williams have a pace to break 61 in 1994?
195 but I'm old. I actually remember the HoJo years with the Mets.
I got 98/200. Biggest misses were Schmidt, Soriano, Bagwell, Guerrero, and Strawberry
179. I'm 42 yrs old. Shoulda got george foster.
I got 191 out of 200, this was fun.
no GGG?
169/200
JIM THOME
I’m paused at 18 minutes, I’m thinking maybe the 91 mets is maybe hundley when he hit like 50 homers? Not positive though
I have zero idea of what is going on/what they are talking about. But this is a great show
This looks good. But it’s also not geoguessr.
Man Adrian Beltre is getting into the Hall of Fame next year and y'all couldn't get him? That makes this Rangers fan sad.
17:42 Plouffe
Geoguesser?
Don't forget George Foster
162/200. I'll take it.
Deer!
Bonilla!
Bench Kingman Baker Johnson
never even heard of luzinski
151 missed strawberry
Joe Morgan had 268 hrs
145
Had to be Beltre.
George Foster
192/200 seems pretty good but it is completely undercut by the fact that I forgot Carlos Delgado. Really smarts.
147/200 🎉
mark reynolds tho
jomboy and jake and bbd tv
Bench
Nobody mentioning Tony Armas in the video or the comments is a glaring hole
If you had me in the room, we solve this thing in minutes: I'm sitting here shouting players from the 1970s and 1980s, yet when you guys pull names from the 2000s, I'm going "oh yeah... him." Our combined forces would have been unstoppable mwahahahahaha
Mo Vaughn
more like greg vaughn
Yelling dale Murphy and don mattingly
Is that Volodymyr Zelensky?
blatant symbolism in the thumbnail.
Wait all week for a new GeoGuessr, and they serve up a steaming, sloppy pile of this smelly garbage.
This vid already has more views than recent geogussr averages ( 8-10k) it it hasn't even been a week. Safe to say geogussr is over.
BELTRE a million times BELTRE
BBD is terrible get him off of the show
luzinski disrespect
I refuse to watch anything with BBD in it. He rubs me the wrong way ever since he got caught cheating and ruining WORDLE vids!
Right I'M the one who cheated lol
