If you want to see the first attempt on this (and yes, that was the very first run) then here is the video: ruclips.net/video/14O2Q8Cnk_U/видео.html A couple of things. That run hit 1800 damage, but didn't use Obliterator. Obliterator has a 1400% damage scaling instead of the often 100%, but it's Ranged and not Melee, making it harder to scale up and also has half the scaling of Melee Damage oftentimes. But the damage % makes up for it. When I decided on a final weapon to switch to, I considered Ranged as half the value of Melee, the crit multiplier and the damage multiplier. Obliterator was still by far the highest one, but a lot of potential damage was lost since it's not a melee weapon. Despite what the numbers look like, the run itself is honestly nothing but lucky. Yes, a lot of extremes in the game are lucky, else everyone would have them, but this one in particular was carried so hard by luck that my decisions barely mattered. Like the first 9 waves pretty much didn't exist/matter and the rest of the game was completely broken. It was very close to lose the run multiple times but luckily didn't happen. I think Ill give it more attempts including live, but it has to be understood that these runs are things I often also fail to replicate for a long time. Similar to how - lately - in Vampire Survivors, I got an Item in a no movement challenge (and other self imposed limitations) and didnt fully realize this super low chance item was mandatory to win. So when I lost and had to re-do it, I relaized how far insane that was. I think here this can go 2 ways: I wont be able to replicate it even in another 50 valid attempts - valid are attempts to me where I dont die pre10 and dont have bad starts - or I may even reach something way more broken. The snowball-effect of the material gain is similar broken to harvesting, where 10% on 100 is just 10 additional harvesting, while 10% on 10000 is another 1000 and more than most chars earn in a normal round.
I'm not one to be impressed easily, but that ending made my jaw drop. It went by so fast and I had to rewatch it multiple times before I realized what was happening.
WOW, just WOW, LMAO !!! That was truly insane those single shots were each doing 24,988 damage from those Obliterators even before they exploded. That's of course when you factor in the 2 x damage @ 100% Critical Chance. Just amazing Dex and definitely a run for the record books, I've personally never seen anything like it but I will be attempting it now that I have. I did try something similar last night but had no where near your luck in the store even though I was stacking it. My run on wave 19 I started transitioning to Purple/Red Miniguns and the bosses died fast but no where near that fast. Oh I've also done it with Shredders and Bazookas @ Wave 19 as well. Thank you for sharing this, for all the time and work that went into making this happen as a Happy Dex is truly a joy to watch...

with the amount of modded run at first i read the title and think "meh, just another modded run to reach high number". But then i read the full title and holy cow this is peak brotato run haha
What's crazy to me is that this run managed to reach 834% attack speed, almost on par with the ~1000% of the ghost flint run. But I guess that's just 327% dodge with Retromations Hoodie for you

If it suits you I would love to see you do a few hard ones that I gave struggled with at danger 5, and really breakdown your thought process behind your winning choices. Such as the farmer. I completed farmer but without killing any bosses, either I didn't have enough armor or dmg or regen etc
The farmer is one of the worst ones for me and was finished on a livestream ruclips.net/video/z9dtDJzkM8s/видео.html The run ends at 1:23:02, I sadly cant quickly figure out when it started The build was horrible all in all, but Tooth and Life Steal with Flamethrower was insane. It helps a ton since Flamethrower attacks insanely fast, meaning a ton of healing, and its AOE attack applies the Tooth effect to all enemies hit. The Chopper was picked for +2 healing but tbh the main reason was that there were not that many other great options. Still, +2 on fruits shouldnt be underestimated. The start was with hands into tasers, early waves are easy enough to survive so the bonus harvesting helps out to grow faster. The tasers help to control and kill stronger enemies. The way I view it is to focus on Harvesting as much as possible in the first 5 rounds so it scales up super fast. Then you get weapons that protect you. This is anything that slows, knocks back or kills, but the point is not killing efficiently, the point is to keep you alive. Picking all harvesting you come along in the first 5 rounds is crucial for an easy run IMO. Having a 10% Growth instead of 5% means it escalates super fast. Like just to understand HOW insane it is: If you reach 100 Harvesting at Wave 5 and NEVER pick up Harvesting again, then this will lead to: At 5%: 218 Harvesting (went up by 118%) At 10%: 459 Harvesting (went up by 359%, or 3 times as much) Crown is also likely to be found, increasing this to 18% instead. Since Harvesting also gives XP, you can compensate for it in the next few rounds. Wave 5-6 needs a focus on HP, Dodge and Armor. You have to survive Wave 7. Wave 9 is the next issue due to mass of enemies. If you survived this far, then odds to win are really high, as long as you have the Harvesting going.

That's insane & quite impressive! 😮 Not that it would have made a real difference, but i think your damage wasn't even maxed out. Like why would you waste money on dodge items when it's capped at 60% and why would you need a crit rate beyond 100%? 🤔 Maybe I'm just dumb here idk. Sick build for sure though. 👍

Its super worth it but hard to evaluate when to take it. You cant guarantee a payoff and in many cases, I do things where I try to achieve max numbers. Getting the numbers is my biggest goal and gambling can put a risk on it, especially if you buy it on a turn where you are behind and now you are even further behind, you may earn less next round or even die so while eventually it pays itself off, it wont pay off what you lost. But if you can just get it from a Crate or have the money to spend, get it

I've practically wanted to pull my hair out due to the amount of times you've passed up on the Recycling Machine in any of your runs thus far. The only argument for not grabbing it is if you're either expecting to get no crates, or you're willing to pick up practically anything you get from them, because the bonus to recycling applies to loot as well. The first time I saw you skip one was a run where you were also recycling your own weapons, I think I estimated it would've more than paid for itself after one wave. Now, there's still things that take priority, but personally the Recycling Machine is one of my higher priority pickups.
Edit: Got it tested by some1 and it works on weapons, so I remove this part The recycling machine has a couple of issues: -It has a base price of 35, which puts it above any common item -You need to have Crate drops -You need to have things in the Crates you want to sell Its a powerful item but most of the times but you always have to decide in the moment if something is worth it or not, and that depends on urgency. Something that barely benefits you is not an urgent priority for me. As in: Urgent is something that drastically affects the run, usually referring to something that prevents you from dying or kickstarts your run. Like for example at 6:44 the run was over for me, there was no reason to lock a free roll in the shop with 0% Attack Speed. I needed Attack Speed ASAP and as much as possible. Wasting 60 Material next round while also locking a slot is a deadly decision
@@DexTag As I said, there are still things that take priority over it, but I think the one that got me the most was when you got (in another run) one as a crate drop and recycled it, with more crate drops left to go in that wave. And you should probably check it out, I have a feeling it has probably been changed since then - I personally started playing around the previous patch release, so I have no frame of reference. If it used to be purchasable multiple times, I definitely can see why they would've decided not to include weapons. Also, while it's true that you need things you want to sell in crates, most runs I've seen you do are somewhat/largely focused on a few particular stats, and you end up recycling plenty of items. And as I said earlier, there are other things that take priority. I can understand skipping over it during earlier stages, where you're not getting a ton of drops yet and kickstarting your build takes priority. My comment was mostly regarding runs in general, not necessarily this one in particular (though you did see another recycler at a far later stage). *Edit* Also, I mean no offense when I say anything here, it's mostly just one of those "grinds my gears/pet peeve" kind of things.
Someone tested it for me and said it increases so I trust in that. Most decisions in the videos are in the moment decisions. Like the result length of a video is already a cut down of a very long recording, I can't spend all too much time on decisions or I have even more to go through. The biggest issue is as said that most of the "strategies" (lets be honest, its hoping for insane luck) are borderline death. Like this run here could have ended plenty of times while doing it, there is little room to move around and waste money (by waste I mean in this particular moment for the next wave, not all in all). Its pretty much the same reason why you cant pick Luck/Harvesting every level up despite it having a way higher pay-off. But mix quick in the moment decisions together with a very tight slope and thats the result. If I skippd it later in the run then this was just due to trying to play a bit faster
@@WLMinaro to be fair when min maxing runs, this item should be ignored because you need the power spike much much more than extra i dunno 500 mats? Like here he had tons of materials already so why sweat about some change. But for runs that are mostly casual it is in b+ or a- priority specially when you play with luck. And lastly, if it is a crate drop it SHOULD not be recycled because it is a great boon.
@@DexTag Oh, I'm more than aware. Although depending on what my options are and what stage of the game we're looking at, I *will* go for Harvesting/Luck. Earlygame luck items are very expensive, so unless I've got some top prio options (depends on when in a run) or something desireable is a level higher than the Luck/Harvesting, I'll usually grab it. The priority changes a bit further into a run, usually I won't prioritize Luck as heavily by wave 10, unless I'm sitting on close to 0. For harvesting it depends, but unless I'm lacking in another area I'll usually go for it until wave 14ish, possibly more if I got the crown. But yeah, it's definitely both subjective and variable as to when it's worth grabbing "growth" upgrades whenever you're on higher danger levels. Most of them aren't worth going for if grabbing something else would allow you to get more kills during the next wave, unless the difference is marginal (after all, both equals more materials). Especially when you're going for "greedy" or super-focused runs, as those tend to be even more risky in the earlygame. @Kyree Vlade Well, I'm partially agreed, because I think you're mostly correct. What I mean is that specifically if you are min-maxing you'd want to pick it up, assuming it wouldn't put you behind compared to spending it elsewhere - after all, if you're looking to min-max you want as much as you can get. So while he didn't "need" it at the later stage in an incredible run like this where you're getting thousands of mats/wave, that's not the point - the point is that getting it would get him more :P But yeah, similar to what I said above in reply to Dex about Luck/Harvesting early, you should rarely (if ever) prioritize it in the shop in the early stages, and I agree that you should always take it if you get it from a crate, as at that point it would likely pay itself in one recycle, as you're not losing the full cost like purchasing it would.
Out of all the things you could call "sus" you decided to choose the one getting 2 obliterators, which we've seen multiple times in the run but now on no weapons so weapons are more likely to appear, on 6442 Material with somewhere of 20-30 free rerolls (bunnies) and max reduced cost shops. Like the part of the video that was meant to be a surprise and cut for that reason is the one you question. Not the whatever how many trophies were in there Not the amount of axes Not the Retromation Hoodie Not the weird proportion of items I got No, its the only part intentionally meant to be like that xD (I listed the things that I know are unusual after doing that many runs, the list of things that went wrong and harmed the run is way longer though, e.g. how long it took to get the Gentle Alien, Mouses, to build up luck, the survival items which luckily werent needed but may have very well ended the run 3-4 times etc.)
Na, they suck. Loud is an exception because of the additional enemies and his tags helping him out, but in most games I died or it lead to no great result
@@user-m8k9d I agree that's weird, the only thing that's coming to my mind is that I started backing up the game in case something goes wrong or I mess up with something goofy. So I mean quitting, taking the save and making a copy of it, then playing - and when I mess up I'd just reload the save. This has messed with a couple of things, e.g. would it sometimes re-apply the bonuses from the weapons again. Not that I had to reload games that often, but I took frequent breaks while playing and usually already edited the footage to know how it's looking and where I should head. I can't say if that's the case here, I'd need to replicate the scenario and that time's patch to see if something was different.
Man I was really enjoying your videos, but like come on. The run isn't normal. And the one guy that kinda points out that the sus of cutting the last shop got a paragraph reply. I just don't think getting 2 legendaries on shop 10 with only like 40 luck is possible. My favorite character is lucky and I've never seen that happen. I've actually never seen that many multiples of any item on any run. I only have like 160 hours on the game, but like 70 of them are on the lucky character trying to get a crazy build like this. While I've won multiple crazy danger 5 runs with upwards of 300 luck this just doesn't pan out. Like you don't have to lie to kick it. We watch modded runs to. Feels bad man
I replied because it was ironic how that part was the questioned part. The final waves are what take the longest in Brotato. Not finishing runs because you die or quit means you play through insane amounts of games. Like count in how many games have you gotten: 71 material start, a top shop start, a crate and a double horde wave. Realistically the answer should be never, but if you focus on it you can do that in roughly 1/30 runs since you focus on it. The same thing for retro hoodie. You are looking at a run that got super lucky in the second half, the beginning was really bad. Its like going to a lottery winner and saying you played 1000 lottery games and never won. the run counts plenty of absurd things if you go for the ones beyond reasonable luck, but even more if you count the ones below reasonable luck. like where were the coffees, broken mouth, mouse and gentle alien early despite having the tag (i think mouse got maxed out close to finishing it despite all the material i earned and rolled with) etc. a trophy is a roughly 1 in 30 wave 5 shop reward (talking about games, not rolls/odds). Odds are odds. No one would bet an eye if the red item wouldnt have been retromation hoodie and neither would the video have existed since i only had 25% attack speed and i wouldve died next round.
If you want to see the first attempt on this (and yes, that was the very first run) then here is the video: ruclips.net/video/14O2Q8Cnk_U/видео.html

Edit: Got it tested by some1 and it works on weapons, so I remove this part
The recycling machine has a couple of issues:
-It has a base price of 35, which puts it above any common item
-You need to have Crate drops
-You need to have things in the Crates you want to sell
Its a powerful item but most of the times but you always have to decide in the moment if something is worth it or not, and that depends on urgency.
So while he didn't "need" it at the later stage in an incredible run like this where you're getting thousands of mats/wave, that's not the point - the point is that getting it would get him more :P
But yeah, similar to what I said above in reply to Dex about Luck/Harvesting early, you should rarely (if ever) prioritize it in the shop in the early stages, and I agree that you should always take it if you get it from a crate, as at that point it would likely pay itself in one recycle, as you're not losing the full cost like purchasing it would.
18 free rerolls on wave 17 lmaooo
cooles video diggi
weiter so
fastes wave 20 ever XD
Not seeing the final shop is sus as fuck. Makes me question the unmodded tag.
I make my character so powerful, so it is kill bosses of wave 50 instantly
Fun starts by 26:35 🤣
Why did you cut out the last shopping? Kinda sus
Not the whatever how many trophies were in there
Not the amount of axes
Not the Retromation Hoodie
Not the weird proportion of items I got
No, its the only part intentionally meant to be like that xD
(I listed the things that I know are unusual after doing that many runs, the list of things that went wrong and harmed the run is way longer though, e.g. how long it took to get the Gentle Alien, Mouses, to build up luck, the survival items which luckily werent needed but may have very well ended the run 3-4 times etc.)
Guilty dog barks my friend
WfT
"unmodded"?
I sometimes used mods or modifications so I put that up as clarification
i cant beat danger 0!
Der ist doch deutsch
patato
Are german because your acent sound very german
Damn!
NICE
Youre going to get ghost axes nerfed next patch lol
Na, they suck. Loud is an exception because of the additional enemies and his tags helping him out, but in most games I died or it lead to no great result
@@DexTag I had my previous runs going cuz of its buffs adds + dmg after x kills to low dmg characters like farmer + explorer lol
25 damage is not alot
ooooh its 25,000 not 25.000
حماس 🔥
Welcome to learning numbers the . Is used for decimals the , is for the things like 25,000
That actually depends on what country you're in, a good bit of Europe is the opposite
@@justahologram2230 It is so in every country that uses the metric system. ( , for decimals)
Lmao xD
this run is cheated and it is quite obvious. Hate the fact that you still pretend
Go ahead and point out the things supposedly cheated. I'll wait
@@DexTag you have 2 obliterators with the heavy tag but do not get the synergy effect, that's a bit sussy for starters
SHEEEEESSSSSSSSSHHHH FIRSSTTTT LETSGOOOOOOOOOOOO🥂🥂🥂🥂
Like count in how many games have you gotten:
71 material start, a top shop start, a crate and a double horde wave.
