I had a friend who was deaf but good with electronics. he took an old tensler unit (used for shock therapy on achs and pains) hooked it up to Bluetooth and his alarm. this is what he used to wake up on time. we called him twitchy. he also hooked up a stereo system in his car and mounted the speakers to the back of his seat. it played only base.
There is an alarm you can get that is meant to wake up deaf people. You put it under your pillow and it like shakes you or something I don't really remember. I learnt about it from my Mum
@somedeafguy I love the shorts that you do they are not only hilarious at times but educational. Im mostly deaf with only 1/4 of my hearing left and I struggle to remember sign language but I feel like ive learned how to use sign so thank you for that :)
Farsighted and deaf in the nose bleed section of a stadium, and you have to put on reading glasses to see what the interpreter is saying; but take the glasses off to see the event. Could be boxing, baseball, football, etc.
And no one points out that the asshole interpreter doesn't even tell him goodnight? And since I'll have to explain it, he closes his eyes before the interpreter signs "you too"

Deaf people have pillows with vibrating element inside, connected to an alarm clock/radio. Very useful when you can't hear the alarm
