Yet another fantastic list mate. I really like how you manage to point out some objective flaws but add a very relatable "but I'm a bit more forgiving" to put things back in perspective. I'm sure we all experienced games where we are aware of some shortcomings but still get enough enjoyment out of them to consider them worth our time and fun to play. Also on topic of if I've played any of those games I can say not yet, but three have been on my backlog already. So I was quite happy to see them here.^^
Nice one mate, yeah that’s exactly where I sit with it, some of the games definitely have some flaws but I still found enjoyment with them overall. But of course, peoples tastes differ and their mileage for accepting certain levels of jank will do too. Keeping pushing through that backlog brother, I managed to make a small dent in mine over the holidays. Only a small one though 😂
@@thepolygondon9198 I wholeheartadly agree on that. Of course more polish is always appreciated but a little jank here and there is not enough for me to break a game when it's overall fun. Speaking of backlogs, I've actually started cleaning that one up while also kinda play a series I got introduced by you. I'm currently playing Zeno Clash II on the PS3 which I looked into after you brought Clash: Artefacts of Chaos to my attention. Of course that one's next right after this but this series and it's universe is so fascinatingly bizarre I wanted to get the whole experience. So thank you very much for that mate. I truly appreciate it.^^
@Ivotas mate that’s great to hear and you are very welcome! You’ll have to let me know if Zeno Clash II is worth going back to. I haven’t dived in yet but loved the world artefacts of chaos showed to me so I wouldn’t take much convincing tbh
@@thepolygondon9198 I would definitely say go for it. Yes, it is short and a tad clunky but I've never experienced a game that made me go "wtf is this world?" all the time. And I mean that in the most positive way. The cutscenes are very simple and basic but that just strikes me as intentional because it fits the "aw heck whatever" approach nisely. This game fully embraces it's weirdness and that's why it's so fascinating. If you decide to play this I would recommend the full story walkthrough from the first here on RUclips before you play the sequel. Yes, you get a brief synopsis in the prologue of ZC2 which does set up enough about the plot. But I think you would appreciate the world a little more if you witnessed the world building if the first game. It's just slightly above two and a half hours so can be watched in one sitting. Sorry for talking too long about this. I just think that there is something for you here.
Don’t be sorry mate that’s great info! I’ll check out that YT vid of the first games synopsis then I probably will play through the second. Definitely a series and a game world that I want more exposure to so will more than likely dive in at some point. Nice one! 👊🏼
Quickly becoming one of my favourite channels. Cheers, mate. 👍 Concrete Genie's going straight on my list. John Wick looks...lnteresting. If I can find it cheap I'll slap some coin down for it.
Nice one mate, appreciate you saying so 👊🏼 Concrete Genie is solid, hope you enjoy it when you pick it up. Yeah John Wick Hex is a weird one, if you like strategy games it’s definitely worth a look but I still wouldn’t pay more than £10 for it.
I first played Greedfall free off PSN+ a few years ago and liked it a lot even though I didn't get very far. Just recently got a physical copy under $15.00 brand new on ebay and can't wait to get back into it again. Thinking of getting John Wick Hex as new copies are dirt cheap and while I'm no sports fan I have to admit that Captain Tsubasa still looks interesting. Thanks again for interesting list of underrated PS4 games
Great series. Concrete Genie is in my backlog while Greedfall and Redout definitely peaked my interest. I love hearing you talk about games, you sound like the never casted chill character in Snatch.
i just love that you buy the physical copy of the games you share, showing even more appreciation for it and in this day and age, gotta start collecting those physical media, even if i'm not gonna play 'em 'cuz i'm a pc player, just to have it or maybe when i buy myself a ps4 for example.
Thanks man 👊🏼 Yeah I’m personally all about the physical media. Always been that way tbh, a hoarder basically 😂 but the industry is giving me more and more reason to stay on the same path. I read the other day that Spec Ops The Line has been delisted from pretty much every digital store front. Really glad I’ve still got my physical PS3 copy as that’s an incredible shooter campaign and definitely a game I will want to play again at some point. The PS4 library is the one though, you’ll have a tonne of incredible games to get stuck into if you did get a PS4 or PS5
Appreciate the Redout 2 coverage. Definitely one for the speed freaks out there, but a tough one at that. The multiplayer component can be fun with friends of equal skill, but this late in release, new players aren't missing much but getting stomped by regulars by several miles.
They’re two that have been in my backlog for years, I’ve only played a few hours of Tower of Guns, it reminded me a lot of another game, Ziggurat, which is essentially the same set up only instead of guns and bullets it’s spell casting and wizardry. Pretty sure they’re both Soedesco published but not sure if they’re the same developer
Subbed. Great channel. I feel with the way things are going in the AAA space your lists are solid gold and a great way to dip my toes into the AA/indie scene that I am mostly unfamiliar with. Also PS4 collecting in this space is fairly inexpensive (although not always). Please cover Rain World at some point. Absolutely amazing PS4 game (the PS5 port is flawed however) -- also no physical for it except a very spendy LRG release. And another thing, I LOVE that you cover physical games; under 99% of circumstances I only buy physical media so again your lists are quite relevant to me. Keep up the great work.
Nice one for the sub man 👊🏼 glad you’re liking the content so far! Yeah that’s why I love the PS4 so much I think, great AAA first party releases, some solid AA titles and a tonne of creative Indies, most of the ones I want get physical releases too which I’m definitely all about. I’ve heard great things about Rain World, need to get in on that. The fact it didn’t get a standard release is probably why I haven’t yet tbh. But you’re not the first to recommend it to me so I should just grab it off the PSN store already 👍🏼 thanks for the suggestion
Yeah definitely, I’m sure I read somewhere that Shaolin Soccer was partially based on the original Captain Tsubasa manga so that would totally make sense
I was turned off Captain Tsubasa as it was too difficult from the start. I was having fun but I do not like when developers don’t ease you into the action. Being a football nut. go Liverpool I’ll return to it one day
Thank you, don. This is my favorite video series of yours.
Thank you for watching mate and glad you’re liking the series so far 👊🏼

😂 I’ll take that, love that film. Glad you’re liking the series so far 👊🏼
Once again - fabulous stuff. This bloke can do no wrong in my eyes.
Redoubt 2. Yes, I've heard of this pinball game.
Great video family... real talk. SALUTE 👊🏾
Nice one man 👊🏼

Yeah man completely agree although that sums up my experience playing most games online 😂
I think Get Even is one of the most underrated games on the PS4, maybe ever
I keep being tempted by that but have never picked it up. It’s also still pretty cheap! I’ll grab a copy next time I see it, nice one 👍🏼
Great Channel, super chill presentation, great games, can't say more.
Thanks man, glad you’re liking the content so far 👊🏼
I bought alienation becausw of you and loved it. Thank you!
You’re welcome, that’s great to hear! 😊
Tower of Guns or Mother Gunship are also both good games (even though they are similar)
They’re two that have been in my backlog for years, I’ve only played a few hours of Tower of Guns, it reminded me a lot of another game, Ziggurat, which is essentially the same set up only instead of guns and bullets it’s spell casting and wizardry. Oddly enough they are not

The football game seems to be routinely in sale in os online storefront. I think it’s available now for $10 or less
Well worth it at that price 👌🏼
Picked up a physical copy of Captain Tsubasa for €10, some of the skills & goals scored are like a game version of Shaolin Soccer
Yeah definitely, I’m sure I read somewhere that Shaolin Soccer was partially based on the original Captain Tsubasa manga so that would totally make sense

Which are the intro games? Name?
