I have been a scary movie, book junkie, since I was a young teenage girl. I recently watched a new movie by the name of hereditary. I literally could feel the evil, jumping out of the screen and into my bedroom. I was racked with nightmares. And was unable to get the most disturbing scenes that were hidden until the last 3 minutes of that movie out of my head, throughout my days, for weeks. I prayed for deliverance from whatever entity was cast into that movie. Hollywood is evil! It’s time to take a stand in the name of Jesus against This.

Jennifer, I have to say that I had the same experience. I watched it literally months ago and I still get flashbacks from some scenes, especially the ones at the end. I so regret watching that movie, and it's taught me to not be to flippant about movies anymore, especially as a Christian. I stopped watching scary movies 10 years ago period I loved watching exorcist that was my thing and Freddy and Jason. The last scary movie i watched was Paranormal that was in 2012 i was so Angry i left the threatre they we're mocking christ. Girl I will actually tell you my experience after watching that movie,I had seen it before when I still wasn’t a christian and kid you not half way into the movie I was like what the heck am I watching it was that crazy everyone in the theater was silent fixed on the movie and like you said you can just feel the evilness but since I was blind to see the devils work I didn’t notice how actually evil it was but now that I’m a Christian I can truly say I was terrified when I sadly watched it again with my niece and nephew recently, I know demons where brought into my home that night you could actually feel an evil presence,even the kids felt it,soon after I had to drive my niece and nephew down to my moms house to drop them off,kid you not the bad vibes we’re so bad our car stoped working and I drive a 2020 Tesla why wouldn’t a brand new car work it didn’t even want to charge the battery, the kids were spooked 😱 I literally had to take my husbands truck played gospel music and cried on our ways their i apologized to GOD for letting those entities into our home and promised to never do that again true story
I sincerely believe this!!! Music, movies, TV shows, social media. I used to listen to secular music and watch lots of movies and crime shows. Once I gave my life to the LORD it was clear to me I had to stop. I could feel literal evil in certain things almost instantly (I had never had that discernment before) and I am so thankful the LORD showed me the TRUTH!!!
Oh my goodness, I love to watch true paranormal shows, like Paranormal Survivors, A Haunting paranormal investigators, etc. they are true accounts of people but I feel I have to give that up. I've always been interested in demons, familiar spirits and things but I don't think we're supposed to know about that stuff. BUT, I didn't know about true crime shows. I like watching those because, Again, they're true. I do know sometimes an episode will really bother me and I keep thinking about it and I had nightmares for a few weeks dreaming people are after me and I can't get away. Thank you for sharing.
