After having two kids I went through a dry spell with my husband. I didn’t feel comfortable in my own body and was struggling with depression for a while. I think what helped was him allowing me to have my space without pressure. Intimacy isn’t just physical it also involves continuing to date each other and little details go a long way. As our frontal lobe develops what turns us on can change and I think that’s a conversation they should have. As women age their libido changes with our hormones and that is okay and normal. He has to be willing to understand that and find another way without pressuring her and that involves dating each other again.
Omg to the girl who moved for her boyfriend...Don't lose sight of why we have partners in the first place. It's to make our lives more happier, more rich, more fulfilled. We ADD them to our lives to make our lives better, never sacrifice your life and happiness for your partner while he is out with the boys. I'm so sorry it has been a disappointing experience but your home town is calling you now. Good luck P.S Listen to Taylor Swift's song 'So Long London' and her great line 'I left all I knew, you left me at the house by the Heath'... 😢
I am a male viewer and love the podcast. Men do get flustered and question how to understand signals, we talk about you. We question if we should double text or show some way of making effort to show we like you but also make sure it isn't too much too soon. As a hopeless romantic and wanting all those amazing cute moments with someone it also can come across as too much to others, it's hard
@@eilidhm9322 Even if she’s 25, any teaching contract or policy will tell you to never have any kind of relationship with their student’s especially if they are mentoring/tutoring them. It’s an abuse of power at the end of the day despite them both being consenting adults. 🤷🏻♀️
Can't help but think the guy with the lack of sex thing might have a situation where it's her mental health, I've suffered with medication and episodes of my mental health really affecting my libido so it's worth exploring that too x
Girl who moved needs to issue an ultimatum and say either you include me more or she moves back to her hometown. If he wants progress the relationship he needs to make more effort to include her in his life.
For the first one, it can be pretty common to lose libido if you are struggling mentally. Sexual desire is triggered by all the happy chemicals (dopamine, endorphins, seratonin and oxytocin) so if theres some kinda imbalance it would be understandable for her to lack libido. Im quite a sexual person myself lol but there have been times where Ive been at low points and that libido has fully gone to the point where im frustrated at men trying to flirt with me lol (when usually i can be quite flirtatious) and i will struggle to even recognise this difference in myself and might need someone else to point it out or i wont even realise until i get out of that depressive episode. If i was the guy instead of trying to persuade the girlfriend to have sex i would try and maybe approach her gently and ask her if shes feeling stressed/overwhelmed/sad lately (you dont even need to bring up the sex bcos that might make her feel a bit closed off/defensive) she might be struggling and just completely unaware. i think this can apply to other situations as well if you have a friend or someone youre close to who has changed in some way (maybe theyre ruder than usual, not making as much effort, or you just notice a shift) they might just be at a low point in their life and it can be difficult but if you can try and ignore that change and be the bigger person and ask them "hey you okay atm?" and youd be surprised how much that could mean for that person
feels like i'm one of the the only bryan still here great episode the elevator don't seem real too much romance and coïncidences . but yeah we guy talk among ourselve how to understand signals and regret sometimes
I can't help but think that with the first guy without the sex in the relationship, could it be that the girlfriend found someone else / cheated on him and does not want to break up because she doesn't want to let go of that comfort of having a boyfriend but is being satisfied intimately with someone else? Just a thought!
That elevator lady should start writing romance novels fr
Thank you for including the guy emails! It's refreshing to hear them say they wonder about the same things we do and have the nerves.
I agree! Really nice to include them xx
You can not convince me that that elevator story isn’t a fanfiction…it is 😂 but at least she is having fun 💀a little cringe still
The Madrid girl needs to write books or a script cause I’m engrossed rn 😂
Happy Wednesday to those who celebrate! 🫶🎀✨💕

The elevator situations is SAFEGUARDING NIGHTMARE!!
Safeguarding? Yes it’s inappropriate, but she’s a 25 year old adult! Not a teenager in high school 😂

That was my first thought. She seems to be checked out of the relationship.
There are so many other reasons that you don’t want to have sex and have low libido
