As your neighbor… I love driving by and seeing your beautiful flowers out at your stand. Yesterday, I decided that I was going to buy a bouquet that had all the lilies in it. My absolute favorite flower ever. Absolutely beautiful! I also love watching your videos and how the bouquets come together.
Gorgeous setup!! $10 that’s insanely cheap! I feel like a bouquet like this at the grocery store would be $30! Do you sell all of them? If I lived in the same place as you. I would never buy cut flowers from the store again! Thank you for sharing!
Spectacular bouquets and well worth the price! What's most interesting is how each is the equal to the next without being cookie cutter the same. It makes for both an eye-catching display but also speaks to the care and art each took to build. Impressive!
I have been selling bouquets at my roadside stand for about 4 years now. I don't have a flower farm, just my gardens but I am able to keep the vases full throughout the growing season. When I do mine I tie them with a bit of twine because not everyone wants the vase. My bouquets are a little smaller than yours and sell for $5 for just the flowers and $7 if they want the vase which I buy by the case at Dollar Tree for $1 each. My kids bought me a wrought iron flower cart for Christmas 5 years ago which is what got this retired Nana started.
I was so relaxed and in a dreamy state watching you harvest those beautiful flowers and listening to that inspirational music. Thank-you so much for being such a bright spot in my day.
This was just a lovely video. I so enjoyed your mother's piano music at the beginning. I love your bouquets and the idea of recycling the glass jars. Great job all around!!
What beautiful bouquets! Soooo much for $10!!! Feels like that would have been $50+ from a florist, and you added so many extra beautiful things! Amazing you can make money at this rate. You are doing a great service to your community! ❤️
Thankyou so much for all your amazing videos! I am just starting out an urban flower farm in Nelson City, New Zealand and I'm in full research and planning mode. I am so glad I found your channel, you give such great, clear, interesting advice and I'm binge watching everything and getting so excited! It's late autumn here so I'm way behind you but that's perfect for me to follow along at our pace. Thankyou so much for all the help! It's like you're right here holding my hand 😂
Your bouquets were so beautiful. I can’t believe you are selling them for only $10. I hope people in your area know how lucky they are. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, what wonderful arrangements. I couldn’t resist them if I saw them as I was driving by. $10 seems such good value. I loved watching this video. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you Danille. I'm sure your customers are always so happy to see your flowers out for sale. It is helpful also to hear about how to condition the flowers, even if it's for our own use, nice to have tips to make them last as long as possible!
In my honest opinion, out of the many youtube videos ive seen on cut flower bouquets, you’re bouquets are the most clean and formal looking. Amazing Job. God bless
Love your channel. I planted a few more things in my garden this year just to cut because of your channel. And I have been loving it! I’ve been making arrangements and giving them to friends and family. This video was great, do more of these please 💚 I love seeing how you use different things to make beautiful arrangements. Thanks for doing what you do!
Also, I heard an Amish buggy in the background so you must be in or near my favorite county (besides my own county of course ☺️) The arrangements are so beautiful and what a fantastic price!
I loved your video...your flowers are gorgeous and if I drove by I would take all bouquets...price is affordable, flowers are organic and thank you for posting. I am new to your channel.
Danielle loved that you shared your process (and your stand)! I am in my learning year and after seeing your beautiful bouquets, I will definitely be growing lilies next year. I live in NH and also love planting within my landscape out of both necessity and beauty. Thanks for all the help. 🌻💜
Thank you so much for sharing so much information with us in a fun way, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from you as I dream about growing more flowers!
Hi! I am from the Philippines and love gardening so much, I wish we had cooler climate like in your place so I could also plant the flowering plants that you grow in your place. But watching your video is just so refreshing. Thank you.
I learn so much from you! I am new (2 years),to living in zone 5b, coming from 9. It helps so much to see what you do, both for growing, and types of flowers. After my first year, I had the goal to grow enough flowers to have bouquets in the house. Last summer I achieved that goal, though I lacked variety, so always looking for more. Flowers are so expensive here, I would love one of your gorgeous bouquets for $10. I use jars like that to share with family and neighbors.
I didn't think that I was a fan of lilies because they always seem to have the pollen still attached to them where I buy my flower bouquets and they make a mess! After seeing how you arrange your bouquets, I will now be cutting them off if they are there. I incorrectly assumed that I would hurt the flower doing that! Your bouquets are lovely and would easily sell for 20-25$ where I live. Thanks for sharing.
Yay! I hope it turned out to everyone's liking! I filmed a long QandA too but when I put it all together my prehistoric computer would not save the file. Haha!
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarm It was great! I love that your approach to the stand is a no-fuss approach. Where I am, everyone has the traditional farm-style stands that have to be custom built, and I've been really struggling with how to go about my stand situation. I bought a simple outdoor folding table and I a small pop up tent (kind of like a farmer's market style,) - which I plan to use for parties (food table set up) as well - and I'm thinking of using large buckets inside crates. That way I don't have to provide a vase for each arrangement. I can hand-tie them with twine, put them in the buckets (hidden inside a crate) and it's take-and-go. I love that you use an honor system. I was wondering about that because I was considering that as well. As a busy mom with 3 kids (I use that excuse - ha ha - they are 16, 13 and 9 - they aren't babies! - ha ha - but still, I'm busy - I just don't have the time to invest in a lot of harvesting or a lot of bouquets or to be out there "selling my wares.") LOL. And I loved that you shared some arranging tips as well! I'm a late bloomer - first season selling, and I hope to start in the next two weeks, through September. Then I'm going to plan the heck out of my land for spring so I can get a head start in spring! =)
I totally hear you!!! I have tons of competition all around me with custom built farm stands. For me, the wooden table with umbrella has worked just fine. The first two years I used a huge iron table. I really think the umbrella helps. It shows ppl from farther away that someone is selling something. I have a ten year old and a "real" business to manage so I totally feel you!!!! Everyone's journey is different and wonderful in their own way. I'm so thankful we could virtually connect. All my best to you this season. I'm sure you'll sell out! R u on IG? Would love to follow you!
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarm Well, I love that you focus on what you love, and you have such a great video presence. I love watching your videos! I'm in the midst of a career to school librarian so I didn't have as much time as I had hoped - but - I did go to Aldi on your suggestion and buy a bunch of gladiolus! And they are coming up like crazy!! I am on IG - just send me a request. I'm kind of boring on social media. Ha ha. I need to jazz things up a bit for sure! =) Someday ... ha ha. I'm so glad I found your channel because I'm learning a little bit as I go!
Your bouquets are gorgeous! You sell a good product and could fetch more dor them.. One of our local farmers markets, has two different cut flower vendors selling Large bouquets rubber banded together for $10.00 They keep the flowers in water at their stands in buckets and coolers. No jars, or vases offered. It's neat tou can sell your flowers that way. Happy gardening. :)
Such a lovely video, it’s very helpful to watch how you prepare your bouquets. They look so enticing, I’m sure your customers are really thrilled to see them on your stand. Oh and love your t-shirt too 😀💐
Oh I’d recognize the sound of horse and buggy anywhere! Haha. Great vids, thanks so much! I’m curious which town in Lanc. I grew up there and am still close by and all my family still lives there. If close to Ephrata area, I’d totally stop 😀💐🌸🌻
I absolutely loved watching this video! Your videos are so calming. And your flowers are absolutely stunning! I wish I lived near you so I could buy a bouquet from you every week. I just recently found your RUclips channel and I have been binge watching all of your videos. 🙂 So much great information and inspiration. Thank you!!
I love your videos!, You're so adorable, and talented, your love of gardening is genuine and contagious:) If I lived closer I would certainly buy your flower arrangements, they're so beautiful! Until then, I'll keep watching and am now motivated to start a few seeds and set up a small grow light station:) Thanks so much for all you do!!
Love your choice of music... "This is My Father's World" ❤ Just found your channel and subbed. I love flowers and hope to sell them at our farm store next season.
I live in asia. And no way that beautiful bouquet cost $10. It could reach $50-70. And it is expensive considered you could live comfortable $400 a month here (that include meal and rent)
I think I've watched this video 4-5 times now as there's so much to learn. Thanks! 1 question...where do people park when they come to your stand? I see that you're on a busy street too. I live in an area that gets lots of traffic especially in fall (apple ranches and wineries near by). I want to put a stand at the end of the driveway.
Hi Diane! We are on a corner lot. It seems almost everyone will just pull around the corner and park along the side of our property. Rarely someone will pull into the driveway. I hope that is helpful!
Danielle, do your customers take the Mason jar vases with them? Do you ask customers to return vases, or incentivize returned vases, for instance offer an $8 or $9 bouquet with a returned vase?
Hi Paula! They are all old jars of some sort - spaghetti, peanut butter, etc... I keep glass jars all year long. The customer takes the jar with them. I hope that is helpful!

Yes, so lucky! 😄Both lucky to have such an appreciative neighbor and such a kind and talented flower lover 😊

Love this idea, I am sure your neighborhood loves to get these beautiful vases. Loved when someone drive by beeped and smiled and waved! How sweet
Aww thank you! That was my hubby and daughter pulling into the driveway❤
I was so relaxed and in a dreamy state watching you harvest those beautiful flowers and listening to that inspirational music. Thank-you so much for being such a bright spot in my day.
I love your garden and your smile
Thanks for your kind words Serena!
Thank you for the wonderful video.
I saw a flower farm put a hay wagon out with bouquets. The possibilities are endless . Beautiful bouquets,!

They came out beautiful. Just an idea, try using variegated hosta leafs inside the jars to hide the stems. Plus, it gives it a fancy look.
Absolutely beautifully done & $10.00 a bouquet, what a great buy! Thank you so much for sharing!👒💐
Thank you so much. I enjoy your videos & learn a lot. The piano music was beautiful too. Your calm voice & photography are great.

Hi Kimberly! Yes , I grow everything from seed/bulb/corm/tuber
