It seems that the European idea of these videos is to make an "entertainment" video with slow music and showing every step in agonizing detail. Good or bad, Americans just want a quick list of ingredients , short instructions and cut out the repetitive actions whenever possible. Just a cultural preference and point of view about how these things should be made. Personally, I am in the second camp, although the recipe looks delicious I just can't stay the course till the end.

From south of Fort Worth Texas. I have the same sauté pan and love it. Really good photography. I still am not sure of what this going to be so I can’t comment on it.
Love your videos. Made this one. It was quite good, but a little heavy on the black pepper. It overwhelmed. Next time I will cut the pepper in half. My family really liked it. I need larger individual casseroles, though.
Hello, Mark here from New Zealand. Both look great and I bet they are so yummy. The only thing I would suggest for the pasta base one is to give the mince a wee drink of red wine once the liquid it releases has reduced away then reduce the wine. For the potato base one I would do the same plus would include garlic. This is all personal preference stuff - I'm sure that the recipes exactly as presented, and cooked with such obvious care, are magnificent.
