I work at a Bass Pro Shops and we got a new combo in called the extreme series ~$100-130 and they come in a spinning and casting and they are really nice for the money.
It's just a silver max on a cheap graphite rod.. I think for someone of his status and accolades, they could've built a better rod n put a revo on it.. not hating, I even admit I bought BOTH the combo's, spinning and casting!. The spinning snapped in half in the middle of a cast, the casting i use for square bills n shallow cranks.. but they're decent for the price I guess . All this is MY opinion. To each is on.. no hating here.. catch'em on a stick n string if u gotta😂 🤘🕺🎣

That was a chain pickerel, up here in the north east there everywhere and get pretty big. They are also super aggressive, they usually fight harder than bass! Btw love the content man been here for a while👍

Got two of the Jordan Lee combos. Pretty much the same as a silver max. I do love the Winn grips. Definitely worth a hundred bucks. But they're nothing like the revo sx. The revo sx has an aluminum frame and will literally last a lifetime. They're as good as any reel on the market. The shimanos do proform a little better but won't last as long. If you want a dependable reel that will proform great for decades to come get a revo. Any revo.
I have been eyeing the SX combo everytime I walk by stocking the shelves.. definitely gonna give Blake a hard time! That's better than MY employee discount!

Good vid. Always was interested in that combo. What’s the retrieve? In early spring like this, I usually pull out my older 5.4:1/6.4:1 reels to try and slow down the retrieve a bit. I find that’s the move. But them reels are old, so I’m interested in using that stimmy $$ for some new ones

Yes it is a Chain Pickerel. I have caught one a little bit bigger and they do fight. But the water is a little cold so they don’t fight as much.

That AG combo u got undid two last year and for the money is one of the best I had . Jordan lee combo u can get in Wallmart for cheaper

If you’re still struggling with the label try soaking it with a sponge and it should make it easier to peel off!

Zip ties are put on because it's sent out as a combo that way Noone can switch out the reels in the store.
I've never caught a pickeral before, but there bigger cousins northern pike sure do fight good.
Pike are insane fighters. They’ll snap a flouro line like it’s nothin.
