Hey there! Teaching Sunday School for kids is incredibly rewarding...but it can also be very frustrating. We all want our Sunday School lessons to be great, but there are a lot of challenges that stack up against us.
Busy schedules make it hard to find study time - Which makes us feel guilty.
It’s tough teaching kids who have grown up with screens everywhere.
And most of us don’t have any formal training with teaching or preparing a lesson.
Not to worry, I’ve got some good news for you.
First, your best ability you bring is your availability. There is never enough help in Children's Ministry, but you’ve stepped up challenges and all. So, if you haven’t heard it in awhile, well done!
Second, with a few simple steps you can teach Sunday School like a rock star. So, let’s look at how to prepare a great kids lesson for Sunday School.

We have bible reading and bible story and activities to go with it. I teach preschoolers kindergarten and under they learn best when you have activities and we have sensory activities one of the kids has autism and the other kids like it too.

Visuals is best for that age... Then also have older kids dress up and do skits for them.... Puppets are really good to keep their attention.. You can make them out of sicks if you can't afford to order them... Kids don't care.

Hi! For how how many minutes should we tell the story to the chidren in the sunday school?
I find difficult to end the story as shortly as I can, so I try to make it interesting. Can you please teach me with some tips on leading and teaching the children in sunday school?
Sure! Ready and meditate on they story until you really get a sense of who the characters are. What are they feeling? What are they afraid of? What do they need? Understanding these things helps make them more relatable to children. Then, share moments from your own life where you felt/struggled with similar things. Invite the children to do the same. Really try to make your teaching interactive.
