I start Sunday with 3-6th graders and I’m so nervous! Lol and I teach 12th grade English for a living! I just know it’s a huge honor to do God’s work for these babes in Christ. These tips really helped. Thank you!

My notes: Yes our hearts desire will be Gods desire ! Get into the story and help tell it that it comes to life!! Dress up or change your voice to fit the character. Get them moving creating drawing or talking! Ask older kids questions. Don’t talk as the teacher too much. Focus on transformation not just information. Bonus tip: form a circle .. change up the classroom often. This gives them a different perspective
I remember my very first Sunday school teacher. He was my cousin David. He quit teaching Sunday school a long time ago. I really want him to be a Sunday school teacher again because he's one of the best teachers I ever had.

He is 40 years old. 40 isn't old at all! My neighbor is 77 years old and he never gets tired of doing yard work, although his son usually helps him. I have this friend who is 73 years old. He enjoys walking long distances, sewing, being a tailor, cutting down dying trees, and building things with his bare hands. He also travels to his birthplace in Greece. He also travels to the Dominican Republic. I see most people who are twice my cousin's age going out for jogs without getting tired. Oh, and there's Dick van Dyke. He is 98 years old. Dick van Dyke goes to the gym, lifts weights, dances, sings, exercises daily, plays on the playground, and can run around without getting tired. My family lawyer is in his late 80's. He moves around like a young person and doesn't need a cane or a walker. My cousin needs to know that he can be a great Sunday school teacher again and that the only people he will be teaching are his little siblings and little cousins. Since when is 40 old? My crush is 45 years old, but I don't see him as old. My late great-uncle, Big Jimmy, built the wishing well at church. He was also an auto mechanic when he was in his mid 60's. My preacher is 60 years old. He walks long distances with his dog. In the words of Tao Porchon-Lynch: "I don't believe in age, I believe in energy. Don't let age dictate what you can and cannot do." More and more people need to learn that quote. Especially my family. When some people in my family reach a certain age, they consider themselves old and stop doing things they did when they were younger. I should show them videos of 98-year-old Dick van Dyke lifting weights.

I don't have a board or a new testament for each of my kids but I want to teach them to their understanding, also I don't have a table to teach them every Sunday so I teach them what they need to know like verses.please can I get a table and what I have to do to improve my skills and my children service.
