I was so sad for you when I read you bought a "Forfait Paris 2024" because it is not available when it is not the Olympic Games ! Nevertheless thanks for this video !
There are announcements but they wanted to change the badly vibrating speakers. After the change on one train, the sound was way too loud and they tuned down way too much and mistakenly did it on all trains as well.
First of all I find OrlyVal very useful and convenient to use. Yes it is a bit pricey I agree, but the fare has been much reduced from what it was when it first opened. Don't forget there's also a surcharge on tickets when you want take this new line all the way to the airport. These are imposed on the STIF (the regional transport organisation) by the Paris Airports organisation. It must also be said that even the standard RER ticket to Roissy from the centre of Paris or from further south, where I live, isn't cheap because there's quite a distance to cover. During the Olympic Games, RATP ticket prices were pushed up, but next year STIF are planning on simplifying and in most cases reducing fares. I understand that there will still be special two-day tickets for tourists (forfaits), but for most of us we'll using either Navigo or Easy Navigo which replaces the Optile tickets that were used on the Métro, the buses and on RER lines within Paris intra muros. I use Easy Navigo (a blue and white card) on buses outside of Paris. Increasingly there are new tramlines coming into service and you can change from the tram onto a connecting bus with the same ticket. By the way, when I am on the southbound platform at Antony (RER B) waiting for a train, I find myself constantly having to indicate to passengers who have just arrived from Paris that the entrance to the OrlyVal line is right back at the rear end of the platform. Keep going, you'll find it in end.

No annocment for next stop?

Very nice good
I assume this will make the rip-off Orly Val redundant?
Obsolete you mean.
However they seem to want to replace with an urbanloop gadgetbahn instead of improving it for local service with more stations...

Line 17 should have been an exrension of line 14.
Now 17 will be like an unnecessary shuttle to CDG.
