i started working on my comic recently and i decided to introduce one of my main characters with a nightmare showing her fears and hints to her backstory without really explaining what any of it means this actually really worked out for me to learn how to use “show don’t tell” in a cool way! i have really strange nonsensical dreams in real life that i usually write down and tell to my friends since they can be pretty entertaining. i realized that they were so entertaining to my friends because they took strange turns out of no where and made little to no sense at all. but despite it not making sense my friends could sometimes imagine a story from it and theorize on what random details i never even thought about could mean it’s hard to explain in words but it’s like showing an audience something that doesn’t make sense but makes sense enough for them to guess what and why things are happening in the story
I'm sorry, did you just tell me to DO THE THING? Do I look like Zhu Li to you? Like I always know what the thing is? XD Kidding, I already did the thing!
"Don't let your dreams... yea."
That's some solid advice right there
Splendid advice. Your outro was hilarious. You sound how I feel.
I get told this a lot by the more experienced writers in the writing workshop I attend once a month. I have gotten better
Technically you can do nothing but tell in a comic by covering everything in a single textbox, but that's called a novel. :/
yeah, so not a comic. A novel written out in pen like back in the Babylonian age or the 17th century or something.

Lately I'm hyped about these videos you guys make regarding the comic production process
This is late, but if you still need a good font, I personally use kalim
