In today's video I did a restoration on a Majorette Heavy Hauler Semi truck. These came out in the early 80's and mine needed a restoration.

Looks great, a huge improvement. Most rigs like this would have some sort of signwriting on them; how about making-up some decals for the channel? "D.R. Haulage", or something similar, would give it more of an identity. Just a thought.👍👍😁😁

I think these trucks were developed as an answer to Matchbox' Convoy series, and Majorette claimed the trucks being to 1:87 scale, though the payload often most certainly wasn't. mine is the heli transporter with the Gazelle heli on it (which got used in the Blue Thunder movie as part of the surveillance heli). only the heli model is more like 1:100 scale...

Love the paint and wheels.. Great job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Just a suggestion, you can get custom parts for big rigs at “Rocking H Farm toys”. Exhaust, wheels and tires, grills, fuel tanks, all in 1/64 scale. Pretty well everything you might need for a resurrection.. 😉😉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hell yeah, I always liked the look of the CL even though we didn't have them in Australia (Ford Australia only made the conventional LNT and LTL's here). Great choice of colour and stripe package.
