Glad to finally see a comment section on a trans person's video where cis people are being nice and supportive instead of misgendering us and calling us slurs and threatening us. Yall have no idea how much it means just to see people say they support us.
No one should need to pass to be valid. But that being said it is so so dangerous for trans woman to exist in many parts of the world. By making this information accessible there is a good chance you’ve saved a life or at the very least made someone’s transition that much safer. I really hope you recognize how important this video is.
In a very technical sense yes, but they are women and for all intents and purposes they might as well be female, so it would still be offensive to go around calling trans women “males” lol. I think some people find it confusing because gender and sex are technically not the same thing
imo, the base helps SO much for sharp, high contrast lines. having a sticky base like damp concealer or an eyeshadow primer really makes the product sit exactly where you stick it.
When she said that disclaimer about trans women who don't pass as women yet that they should be accepted, she is so right. I love it!!!!! All the LGBTQ community should be accepted in this world❤🧡💛💚💙💜🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
I know this is technically aimed towards trans women, and I'm cis, but literally everything Nikkie posts makes me feel so calm and relaxed, even when I'm not the target demographic, and I was really in need of this today
This had me in tears not even 2 min in . As a out trans woman and someone who trys to look fem its so hard to keep it up to pass or be seen as valid and not many folks talk about it thank you bb . True icon
I'm a cis woman so I will never know the full scope of what it's like for my trans sisters but I can empathise because I've struggled with not fitting that mold socciety wants for us. I was mistaken for a boy a lot growing up and have been very insucure about my "masculine" features. A few years ago I met this wonderful woman who taught me that not fitting socciety exact expectations is ok. She embrased her beard and bald spot and whel her head up high. She was so confident and raidiated self worth. Maybe my ramblings didn't help at all but I wanted to try and share. Idk.
Holly sweetie, even if it feels like it's hard to keep up, remember: go at your own pace. I know, you probably want your transition to happen asap, but it's okay to go slow! Take steps as big as you feel like you can take. You are loved, even if you don't feel like it. You are wonderful the way you already are and you are going to be even more gorgeous going forward. Sending you lots of love and I wish you the best success at transitioning! I'm rooting for you girl!

Hey Nikkie. My sibling recently came out as a Trans woman. I love makeup and she is wanting to learn. Thank you so much for doing videos like this so I can help her learn and eventually have her start watching your videos as well.
Contour just above the cheek line in a straighter manner, highlight with a lighter concealer and if you muck up the contour, stipple on some eyeshadow that matches your eyebrows (or darker than your head hair if you're like me and have virtually no eyebrows). Stipple a mix of colours, mainly focusing on browns and blacks to give the illusion of stubble 💕😉

YES! Your interests and attributes have nothing to do with your sexuality! Like, you can have super feminine lesbians, super masculine gay men, masculine straight women, feminine straight men, and everything in between. everyone is different
"He's not out killing homeless people or stealing candy from babies," is like, the best line ever to use to tell someone's family to fuck off when they're bagging on your SO for no good reason lol. Like, just lay it out there "It could be SO MUCH WORSE, calm down and stop trying to stereotype people, Lauren!"

She's not out to her girlfriend yet so she can't dress feminine at home, so she dresses up and comes in whenever she has a chance and we always take photos of her in her outfits which she prints out and carries with her. She's so sweet and I hate the fact that people probably look down at her for not looking cis.
I absolutely love the disclaimer at the beginning. I am a gay man that is learning drag, so I clicked on this video to learn more about how to achieve the look I want in drag, but the message that you should learn to love your face without makeup is important in my opinion. Makeup is a lot of fun, however, I am grateful that I didn't do makeup in high school because I used to hate how my face looks. I still don't think I'm the most attractive person, however, I've learned that I don't need to. I'm not the one that dates me. I worry that if I did makeup in high school I would have learned to rely on it as a crutch. I've seen this happen to my friends. They cannot leave the house without makeup on because they hate their face. I hope they can learn to love their natural face more and that while makeup is fun, we should all learn to love our selves and how we look. Makeup should be an accessory, not a vital piece of going out like underwear. That doesn't mean you can't wear makeup every day, if you like to wear makeup in everyday looks, do it! But I just think it is sad to see people have anxiety attacks at the idea of going to Walmart without a full face of makeup.
It really warms my heart to see YOU doing You with such confidence. Keep being just who you are inside. I am a 56-year-old woman and love watching any tutorial you do. I learn so much each time and I love how you transform yourself in so many different ways and are kind enough to share how with all of us.

No one should need to pass to be valid. But that being said it is so so dangerous for trans woman to exist in many parts of the world. By making this information accessible there is a good chance you’ve saved a life or at the very least made someone’s transition that much safer. I really hope you recognize how important this video is.
Is a trans woman still technically a male?
In a very technical sense yes, but they are women and for all intents and purposes they might as well be female, so it would still be offensive to go around calling trans women “males” lol. I think some people find it confusing because gender and sex are technically not the same thing
i disagree
No one should, but trans have body dismorphia. So its more of a personal need rather than a need for public acceptance (but sometime its both)
@@plumenommershpadoinkle7575 but... they produce sperm still, they are literally still a man. Are trans woman men that want to be like women?

Your mom really did an amazing job raising you.
I really love how she insists on the fact that makeup is about control, very empowering to me

It really warms my heart to see YOU doing You with such confidence. Keep being just who you are inside. I am a 56-year-old woman and love watching any tutorial you do. I learn so much each time and I love how you transform yourself in so many different ways and are kind enough to share how with all of us.
i’ve been transitioning for 5 years and still can’t do my eyeliner LMFAO
I’m cis and have been doing it for 17 years and I STILL suck
@@charisday3846 I came to say this lol!
There’s women who’ve been applying makeup for 40+ years and they can’t apply their eyes well. Sorry but do you think you’re due some special treatment?
