(you can grind against mai for some strong traps but thats optional) -grind against mako until you have 3 copies of all his spells, water dragon and roaring ocean snake. (dont forget to reincarnate cards you dont need after every 5 games) -congrats you can now beat the rest of the game with ease cause you got the strongest deck possible in this game. -optionally you can look up codes for the game online which give strong cards that are nearly impossible to obtain ingame like earth shaker and mirror wall. (but thats cheating and who would do that...

Ah, Duelists of the Roses; one of my childhood favorites It's a fun and unique way to play Yu-Gi-Oh, but it's also horribly underbalanced; field power effects make or break your strategies, making certain monster types like water monsters (who have multiple ways of turning the field to ocean terrain) or zombies (who gain a field bonus from both dark and wasteland terrain) stronger than others Also, it's cool that some cards have effects in this game closer to how they worked in Duelist Kingdom (Call of the Haunted turns your monsters into zombies, Flame Swordsman gains a power bonus against dinosaurs, Swordstalker gains a power boost based on the amount of monsters in the graveyard, and so on)
Its a classic for sure ☺️ Mai casually having 90% of her field buffing her definitely traumatised me as a kid though 😆 I didn't realise the card effects were based off of duelist kingdom that makes a lot more sense now actually
Both Bakura and Bonz require deck alteration to reduce your deck cost, so Starter Decks Unaltered is impossible but Starter Deck But Some Cards Are Replaced With Fake Trap is totally possible
Honestly, Seto is such a cool guy in this game. He, the leader of a country, just goes all the way to personally get you to his side. Unlike Yugi who send his blue man (without a group) to recruit you, honestly, Seto will always be my fave side to play because he respects my ass.
